I was asked to start this thread, so here goes.

What's your view on exhibitionism? Do you like it? Dont like it? Why?

Inquiring Minds Want To Know. hehehe

Personally, I'm an exhibitionist. I like to show off mainly because I have tattoos in places that sometimes need to be kept covered for modesty's sake. But I still show off.

That and I'm up in the 50 D cup range and a lot of Men and women do not believe that the tits are real u ntil they get to see them without a bra attatched. Then their eyes pop out. hehehe

Ah well, what's your feeling on the topic of Exhibitionism? Guys? Gals? Whose watching and whose showing off? *evil grin*

I've often been classed as a 'voyeuristic exhibitionist.' Seems to describe me well. I like to watch others as well as show off what I've got. It's quite a healthy way to be in my opinion.

Then again I am riddled with self doubt and insecurities. Maybe that's why I am inclined towards exhibitionism; in a lame attempt to seek the approval of others.

I don't like people to see me. Every once in a while I get an urge to show off pictures of myself, but only flattering pictures = ) As I steadily gain more weight I'm unhappier about doing that, though.

I think I'm a voyeur to an extent, though...I like to "people-watch." Not necessarily just sexually, though...I like to watch people period.

I am drooling with anticipation at you posting 100 and getting an AV.

Does this answer the question?

Gauche

I think everyone wants to be watched,

Mostly for the sake of being the center of attention. I've got similar fantasies, mostly because I'm not used to being the center of attention, especially in those sort of terms. I doubt the real behavior is really in me though.

I am an exhibitionist. DOn't see anything wrong with it as long as it's tasteful.

Gauche..you are approaching 1000..won't that entitle you to a "title"?
Thanks a lot, Rhino; can hardly wait to see what he takes up.

Only a 38D, Perdita :(

bonne femme d'un dieu
I'm a 38 c and I can hardly stand it :(

To all you ladies concerned with how size and weight are perceived by others (like for instance, me):

Everyone of you are a precious gem. The more there is of you, the more there is to love. Show us all you want anyway you want. You'll get nothing less than appreaciation.

Quiet_Cool, haven't met you before, but hello - love the crow look. Are you into supernatural stories?

Hey Rhino - I think I'm jealous - getting a naked Perdita on you has to be a good thing.

But on to the subject here-
Aren't all of us exhibitionists of one kind or another, considering the nature of the writing we post at this site?

I dont know if I'm going to show off an AV of myself or not. hehehe I prefer to be, shall we say, the mysterious face on the other side of the screen.

And yes, having tits this big may make men drool, but try strapping two 5 pound rocks to your chest for an entire day and see how it feels. They may look good, but the person who has to deal with them each day is not fun.

As far as showing off:

I believe that everyone who writes erotic fiction, or even a regular story, is at least a Voyeur. For are we, as a group, not watching the goings on of our characters in our minds?

Here's another odd question: Have you ever wanted to do some of the things that you write about? I know I have, but never will be able to because of the circumstances.

I think Exhibitionism is largely subjective. Think of it this way: Looking good is what I do. Exhibition is what you do.

I live in LA, the land of the right-now fashion trend. I've seen more painted on, low-rise jeans and belly-baring tops in the past year than anyone has a right to. Most of these women would not consider themselves exhibitionists and yet, what else is it when your pants are low enough or high-cut enough to show the crack of your ass? Ditto any tight revealing clothing.

To take it a step farther, though, who the hell doesn't like to look good and be appreciated for looking good? Did you brush your hair this morning? Put on clothes that make you feel good? Shave or put on lip stick? It's all a matter of degree.

Yes, I know there are true exhibitionists. I've known plenty of them. I've also known plenty of people who would swear up and down that they aren't exhibitionists but you'd never know it to watch them prance around.

Personally I like to look and I like to be looked at. I can remember each and every time I've caught the unexpected and perhaps even unplanned glimpse of secret flesh in public. I get a little thrill if I realize someone has ogled me. I don't wear particularly revealing clothing, but I'm not averse to playing up my assets.

Up until my mid-30s I was extremely shy and withdrawn. I still am in real life (vs. cyber) and hate entering a room or bus or any area full of strangers, but I’ve managed to mask it well out of necessity (I could easily become agoraphobic).

When I was 20 I was walking up the main street in downtown Detroit and as two young men passed by I heard one them say, “Man, did you see the tits on her?” I still recall feeling both embarrassed and excited—I liked it. So shy, withdrawn Perdita continued to wear revealing sweaters and blouses until a few years ago (just not right anymore).

Now at 56, most recently a man has somehow awakened that 20 year old and I am “exhibiting” myself not quite unashamedly (he likes that I begin in embarrassment) in ways that never occurred to me before.

So, I’m not a “formal” or lawbreaking exhibitionist, but I let out enough of one when called upon in just the right way. (Don’t ask, I can’t explain what that way is.)

RhinoMan, I don't get it. You, Eff, Fool, even Gauche in his odd way (asking about me on your shoulders). And yesterday I received (and declined graciously) come-ons from a guy in a bookstore, a man on the bus, and a waiter in a cafe. (It must be that 20 year old me glowing from within.)

Feels great, not complaining, but what's a girl to do when she only has so much time and only one full set of working parts? Yes, it's a rhetorical question.

Purrs, Perdita :)

Not to mention the hordes of females after you :D

Ps: as far as my previous answer I am an exhibitionist. DOn't see anything wrong with it as long as it's tasteful. to me nothing about my naked body is distaseful but truss it up in a patent leather mini a bustier and thigh high boots and I feel dirty. (and not in the good sexy smiley way)

I've often been classed as a 'voyeuristic exhibitionist.'

That pretty much describes me too. I can watch or be watched and be just as happy either way. Although if given the choice I'd chose to be watched:eek:

Destinie,
luckily for you and any recipient of a "peek" you are a beautiful woman...modelesque....well.... MODEL.

on the other hand.. I am a middleaged man.... and there are few (if any) who would want to see a glimpse of me...and if subjected to it would think only of a dirty, old, pervert.

rhino-too bad

actually as an artist I find all types of bodies appealing and between you and I I don't really go for the typical female model to skinny. I'm actually a little buxom for my field.
In anycase beauty is everywhere
