Exercise thread... who's with me?

That's where I am now... trying for the "6 Pack" and so so very close...

*smile*

Just have to stay away from the halloween candy and hit the gym hard!

Good for you!

I kinda was out running, hit a patch of ice, and twisted my ankle up, but I'm not eating much, so I might be losing weight.

Drinking lots of water, too. I'm so proud of myself. Who knows, maybe one day I might get to the point where people will talk to me :p

Offering encouragement to all

How's everyone doing on thier goals?? May I be of service???
Keep up the good work.

Hug and Kiss to all. Especially MistressHoney. Thank You for starting this thread.

Had a bad day today.

Was working playing basketball and rolled an ankle, damn, it hurts! No progress this week, although I feel better. Trying though .....

If all goes well, I'll go bust my ass in the gym later today.
FEEL THE BURN
FEEL THE BURN
FEEL THE BURN IN MY HEARTBURN..........LOL

Ergh. Well, my ankle turns out to be fine. I just tore some ligaments in my KNEE, but, oh well.

I'm trying to get to the weight room and do SOME exercising twice a week. Hopefully 1 hour each shot, but probably less.

I missed yesterday (Sunday)... but managed 60 minutes on Saturday - going for 90 minutes later today...

Bump

Just thought this thread needed bumping :)

I spent an hour in the gym today !, I'll be going back Friday, and I'll be doing an aerobics class on Thursday too :)

Yes Mistress, here's some ideas especially for getting started on the fress weights:

1) Technique is everything, don't push more weight than u should
2) Set your weights so you can just make 12 repetitions
3) Start with 2 sets, you get almost all the benefits of 3
4) Don't do the same muscle groups 2 days in a row
5) Have fun!!

;)

BODY FOR LIFE

MistressHoney said:
I've decided that instead of counting calories or measuring my progress by a drop in pounds or inches, I'm going to just aim for increasing the number of minutes that I do some form of exercise.

So... this week my goal is 60. An hour. Total. I like to start out with something attainable. :D

MistressHoney...........let me recommend to you to check out www.bodyforlife.com
This is a book ("Body For Life") that is written by Bill Phillips, the owner of EAS Sports Nutrition and Muscle Media magazine. I have the audio book and I listened to it one day while driving to work. Despite my years in training, I learned alot more from his audio book.
You mentioned not counting calories or measuring your progress. One thing that he suggests in his book is to not count calories but to examine the fat, salt, and sugar contents in foods that you consume.
Ironically, "Body For Life" is the #1 weight loss book sold in the United States.
PM or email me if you would like any more info about his book and suggestions.
