Evolutionary Tales?

I am desperately fulfilling my science credits so I can graduate and be done, and was covering speciation and evolution in one of my courses.

Gave me some interesting ideas for Lit.

Some evolution occurs through natural selection and also when a particular group of a species are isolated from the others. What types of stories could provide a basis for human evolution, or some new and interesting scenarios? There are obviously a lot of incest based notions available for this. A Lost in Space type thing, or WWIII, etc.

I think I was trying to avoid another sex eating species type of concept and deal with something more along the lines of how sex plays a role in evolution and in natural selection for human beings.

You put 50 people on Mars for what is only supposed to be a 10 year experiment, but then war breaks out and they are stranded there.... What do you find when you come back three hundred years later... Are they alive, dead, and if they are alive what type of unique adaptations do their breeding take on?

So they live underground for survival or environmental reasons.

If they have been inbreeding for a few hundred years underground, what different forms or adaptations might have developed and how would that be a unique erotic tale?

I had an idea for a story based on the old SF trope of the "New Man" (such as Odd John or Slan):

Sally Hobun is a very unsual little girl. For you see, Sally was not human. She was among the first of a new breed of hominid: Homo eroticus, Sexual Man. She was born with breasts. A-cups, yes, but breasts nonetheless. And as she got older they grew, about half a cup-size a year. She was also born with a highly developed and omnivorous sex drive, viz the time she seduced her parents and older siblings when she was two, seducing every teacher and many classmates since nursery school, and seducing her. When she reached eight, and her breasts reached E-cup, she decided that it was time to take her amorous adventures outside of the family and the classroom and into the world at large.

Of course the original idea is against Lit rules against minors, but a tale of her in adulthood, seeking others of her kind, or of the new, sexually liberated breed slowly replacing prudish H. sapiens...

Some creatures do survive on rapid breeding and almost nothing else.

And I don't know that you would have a huge issue with the story passing inspection of you manage to be quite clear about her not being human.

Some insects reach maturity and full growth very quickly, then breed, then die.

Perhaps this little creature grows to what we would consider full maturity by the time she would have been eight (if she was human). That might work.... But again, the focus has to be on making it quite clear she isn't human.
