It really cheapens and demeans the sacrifice and courage of the true heros among us who can be found in all walks of life, many in plain clothes, as well as the heros that happen to wear blue or camo.

In your walk of life...,

How many times a day do you put yourself into the line of fire?

Is there some risk of electrocution when you build a new tower???

And not even a manly-man building of a tower, where you actually might be putting your life on the line?

I guess we need to define the definition of hero downward.

Is this because Pence saw heroes before him when real Presidential material sees dead heroes before him???

The "Boy' would obviously be decorating the Homeless as heroes for assaulting the obstacles of law in order to pilfer their way to existence.

No, he obviously wouldn't, but you obviously would be an idiot.

I think it's a pretty expected result from the idiots in the 60's and 70's saying everyone in uniform was a baby killer.

Now everyone in uniform is a hero.

Both labels were created by idiots who lack critical thinking skills.

That's quite a profound revelation.

What's next? I can hardly wait.

Conflating "uniforms..."

Everyone that puts on a uniform is not a hero? Well duh. That required some deep thought .People are just people.

Shouldn't that say NOT everyone that puts on a uniform is a hero? Otherwise it's total gibberish.

Big time agreement here.

Uniforms don't mean shit.

We live in a time where a commercial where a woman hands a cop a soda instead of calling him names and demonizing him is controversial and everyone has to apologize for it.

The problem with liberals, snowflakes, millennials and the whiners on this board is they've never risked anything and their idea of 'fighting for a cause' is retweeting things and posting memes.

Weak doesn't begin to describe these idiots.

It might not be profound, but it is certainly unobjectionable, and in the present environment certainly worth saying and repeating.

And what makes it new in the present environment? Assholes have always been around. Again I say duh. BTW news bulletin. The sun will rise tomorrow.

I just want accountability from anyone who applies for a government job, accepts the responsibility, takes an oath of office and receives a pay check from taxpayers. No one should get blanket immunity.

Wishes it was 1970 and there were some heroes to spit on.

There he goes again. Some president gins up a war and AJ questions the patriotism of everyone who doesn't support MOAR WAR.

If the flag goes up in Syria, will you enlist AJ?

Hell Naw, you got "atrial fibrillation" now....but you're okay with sending troops in harm's way for the flimsiest of reasons.

Your "daughter" turns 18 this summer, as I recall. Old enough to enlist...and combat arms is now available to women. Will she fight in your stead? Hmmm?
