Although I've renamed/reposted a couple of things in the interim, my last all new original story submission was back in late 2009, with chapter six of "Everyone Loves My Ass."

Finally, here's chapter seven...

Hopefully someone will read it. With such a long delay between chapters, though, and with it being eight pages, I'm not expecting much. So, what the hell, I figured I'd at least post a heads-up here. May as well turn eight or nine views into eleven or twelve, right?

I saw you post this on the new stories advertisements.

I plan on going back and skimming the last couple of original chapters seeing I read them when I started here in 2009. I'll come back here and let you know what I think.

I did drift through a few paragraphs of this and your style hasn't changed, story has the same feel to it, so I'm sure it will be good.

I'm curious to see how it is received for how long its been. being a chapter 7 it may not get a lot of reads, but I bet you'll see new interest in the previous chapters.

Eldgerin00 did this with Conflicted, after pulling all those stories he returned a couple of years later to post the sequel here. His scores were great, but votes didn't match his original series. Hopefully you will fare better.

As an incest fan -as well as author- I was happy to see him return and happier to see you come back.

Incest has been sorely lacking a "landmark series". The most successful story in incest to date is Threads the Island, but it was one story and the author a one hit wonder.

There has not been a series the likes of yours or conflicted or Party of five in a long time and there needs to be as I am sick and tired of hearing about that sack of garbage everyone touts as great when its a is a rip off of several old series including my own SWB,(I'm sure you know what I'm talking about) its time someone made the readers there remember the original "leaders" in the category.

best of luck with this.

Is this the concluding chapter?
When I sat down to write it, yes, that was certainly my intent. I have a decent idea of how this thing will end, and my fuzzy-brained plan was for this scene to serve as the prologue to what would be the meat of the final chapter. Instead, this opening scene took on a life of its own. Before I knew it, I was staring at a significantly lengthy piece, at least by usual Lit standards.

After talking it over with a friend, she convinced me that my idea of sending this series off with a twenty-pager would be story-suicide. Knowing that no one was going to read it even at a mere eight pages, what did I think would happen if I dropped something truly massive on 'em?

So, yep, I decided to call this one good where it stands. There will definitely be an eighth chapter, and quite possibly a ninth.

The main thing is that I will begin work on chapter eight within the next couple/few days, so rather than subjecting my poor readers to another six-month or four-year wait this next one should be ready within a month or so.

It's interesting that you should mention that, for that is the very thing about which Eldridge warned me when he learned I was back on my writing horse with an eye towards finishing this "Ass" series. "After being away from them for so long, capturing the feel of your old characters may prove to be the most difficult thing for you."

Apparently he encountered that problem when he wrote his "Conflicted" sequels.

Honestly, though, nope, that was never going to be a problem for me. I've spent so much time editing those first six chapters over these past few years that Dawn and Samantha and all the rest of them never had the chance to drift too far away.

I'm expecting next to nothing. I doubt that it will even receive the requisite number of votes to make any short-term lists, never mind the All Time list. Also, my hater trolls are a devoted bunch. They never fail to do their thing, the moment any story of mine pops up on their radar. The end result is that they kill the story right out of the gate, preventing it from ever gaining any real legs. Over time it slowly recovers, but again, it's never given the opportunity to remain in view here.

I suspect that I will fare much worse. He took off for only a short time, not four years. Also, when he did return, it was with an entirely new (and relatively brief) sequel series, not another chapter of a long-abandoned multi-chapter affair.

Thank you. My guess is that if you liked the earlier chapters, in particular chapters four and five, you will probably enjoy this chapter seven too. I'm fairly certain that you will enjoy the ending I have planned, whenever I get to it.

I haven't kept up on such things. Well, not that I ever did, really. As far as I knew, though, El's story was completely dominant in that category, right up until he pulled it from the site due to his anger over the lack of controls over the trolls here.

Otherwise, I thought that alwaywantedto's "The Mom Memories" series was the dominant incest piece here.

No?

Forgive my ignorance, but I haven't a clue about any of those things. Which "great" series is a rip-off of several old series?

Honestly, I'm just happy to have finally made progress towards finishing it. At last, the end is in sight.

It's that Summer saga that really worries me. Following up "Summer Voodoo" is going to be a serious bitch, and I need two worthy follow-ups there before I can put that series to bed.

Well, lovecraft, at least in one respect I think the jury has already rendered a verdict. All three of the public comments this new chapter has received so far made mention of the long gap between submissions, and the third guy ("Anonymous," of course) straight-up admitted that he was fucking me for making him wait too long.

"4 stars

Would have been 5 if you hadn't waited so long to continue the story."

Nice. At least he was honest about it.

Also, I just read your new story. Even though I normally don't give 5-scores when a piece displays such a blatantly cavalier disregard for basic proofreading/grammar/editing, I gave yours a 5 anyway due to the overall content. I didn't like the mom's transformation during the seduction scene into a bit of a truckstop-mouthed fuckslut, considering that she was otherwise so polished and borderline genteel throughout the rest of the story. I also couldn't stand the asshole dad, obviously, but that was clearly your intent.

That's pretty much it, in terms of complaints. The gist of the story was excellent. I appreciate the fact that you made me loathe the dad and love the mom, and you managed it while maintaining a solid degree of realism with the dad's dialogue. As harsh as he was, there are definitely plenty of men out there who are just that callous, bitter, and misogynistic. I hated the guy, but his character rang true to me.

The same can be said of the mom, at least until the sex began. There, no, her dialogue didn't ring true at all to me. It wasn't awful or anything; it was just a bit too jarring and crass, a seeming mismatch with her character as it was described elsewhere.

To your great credit, I loved her anyway. I felt those damning stings she endured from her Neanderthal hubby. I enjoyed her honesty.

It also doesn't hurt that you made her a raven-haired beauty along the lines of my Samantha. You know what a sucker I am for gorgeous brunettes. :D

Best of all, though, was your treatment of the son and his girlfriend. While I cringed every time he stood idly by as his beloved mother took all that abuse, he was very believable. Everything he said and felt rang true to me, including his responses during the climactic phone conversation with Courtney. I thought that you handled both their characters especially well.

I even liked the poor doofus, and I don't often like the male leads in incest stories. Usually they're far too skeezy. This guy was a much more sympathetic character, making him all the more believable.

Good work, sir.

Thanks for the review especially considering its your feedback thread.

In order not to "jack" your thread I will respond later in a PM.
