Lost Cause said:On a local radio interview, the adult "ZuZu" was answering questions from a town about 20 minutes away. (Carnation, WA.) I didn't know she lived up this way, maybe she's visiting relatives. Anyway, she said Jimmy Stewart was the same type of person as George Baily was in the movie. She relayed a lot of trivia about how the movie was a bust in the boxoffice, so eventually, the television system could get it for nothing, so they would play it over and over, making it an expected holiday tradition.

"Your teacher's fulla snot!"
Obscure nerd reference. Don't worry about it.

Lust Engine said:They had a hideously colorized version done a few years back. AGH! Keep it the way it was! Adding color doesn't always make it better! Poor Capra must've been spinning in his grave to see it colorized!
I'm all for the ORIGINAL vision & version of the movie. Wonderful flick!
Watch for the origin of the Sesame Street characters' names too. Jim Henson got the names for Bert & Ernie from this flick.
