Everquest Junky

This week was spring break. I had hoped to get the boat out and do some fishing and plant my garden. It's rained every day since Sunday. I just know that on Monday, when break is over, it's going to be the weather of heaven.

Nonetheless, on Sunday I thought I would get a new game. One of my students is always tslking about "Everquest." He's obsessed by it, really. "Whats the matter, John-john, did you stay up playing Everquest all night last night?" I ask him when he drags his ass into class.

So I bought the game and I am hooked. Does anyone play this game? Maybe I will see you in Norrath sometime?

See, I used to have two brothers. That was before Everquest--I never see them anymore. There are pictures of them posted on their guild website, so at least I am reminded of what they look like. But be forewarned--I have seen the ugly truth. THE GAME WILL CONSUME YOU.

Until recently I've been running a guild on the Tribunal Server, but I havent been playing so I handed my guild over to a dear friend is is one of my Officers. anyways, i'm going to start playing on a new server just havent decided which one to try out this time.

Yes I take my hits of Evercrack every now and again. Level 49 shaman on cazic-thule, and a bunch of low level alts. My guild just spread to the four winds though, very said. I've been with these guys since the days of Never Winter Nights on aol, 5 years in a month or so. Lords of Krynn we where called in NWN, now we are Legends of the Lance.

Be warned, EQ is very addicting. I know people that have spent 90 days of real life time in a year playing this game. Just be warned. I've done 30 in 2 years.. so thats not too bad.
