Greetings, since everyone is posting their favorite RPG's
I'm going to start an EverQuest thread. Sometimes I won't be able to post for awhile, but I promise to come back and write more. The story , of course, involves a lot of characters, races,
classes and alignments. Pick your own character and welcome
to EverQuest Literotica. No rules, keep the basic storyline as in the game but feel free to venture into the unknown on a lesser scales (no major gods involvement in wars please, but dreams, smaller conspiracies, governmental upheavals or smaller scale city wars are ok)
Great I hope you all get back into your favorite chars, pick your own level and let's go camp some phat lewt or brawl with Sand Giants in Oasis hehe.

Story so far: With the discover of the ancient continents of Kunark and Velious as well as a new inhabitable moon of Luclin, the world of Norrath is no longer the same. Excitement is felt by everyone from ice-clad tall human barbarians in EverFrost Peaks and mishievious fairies in Faydark to Dark Elves in Neriak. Wizards and warriors alike are wondering about the current state of Gods who seem to be silent at the moment.. The governments been busy themselves, each trying to check the progress of the other, calling upon their loyal citizens to be prepared in case of war and ready to march defend their homelands.
I, Starnolan, mage summoner of the 45th summers am currently pondering the mysteries of the present at the friendly fireplace in the merchant Tunnel of East Commons. It's rather chilly here tonight, and since this is a trade zone all races and alignments have forgotten for a moment all their rivalries and do their business bartering goods, services and spells. Although born in Neriak, I had decided not to follow the religion of Innoruuk, prince of Hate that is considered to be the father of dark elves by many and feared as well. The battle of Innoruuk's daughter, T'Lanys has finally brought a temporary cease-fire between these neighbors, dark elves and humans of the Freeport. It's only too clear that it's a matter of time before my kin will rise their troops and lead into the war for domination of norrath...
Warily I sit by the fire with my summoned loyal fire elemental guarding by my side. I roll out my sack and fall to sleep despite the excited shouts of newbies to the local zone that are scattering all over the place shouting that Griffon is attacking the villagers at the Orc Camp. I smile remembering my first time here and doze of to sleep...
(To be continued...)

Re-visiting the dungeon

I've awoke to the reverbating sounds of birds who flew into the tunnel. Acoustics here are unbelieavble. I finally allowed myself a last body stretch and got up. A brief look around brought a smile to my face as I've counted a number of small snakes and spiders lying fried around me. My fire elemental had protected my sleep well. I focused and said "Pet guard here" and for the umpteenth moment was surprised by the direct thought that flowed into my mind from the being that singlehandedly could slay the fearsome giants inhabiting the desert lands in the oasis. As my training and summoming power improved the elementals i called forth were stronger and better at both fighting and casting simple spells.
"Staying here, Master" was the thought I got from it. Satisfied
I've made a small breakfast from snakes so well cooked by pet
and stuffed extra into the backpack. Today I planned to get to the mountains so I can visit an old mage guild of which i was a member, but to get there I would have to undertake a trip through a forest zone called West Commons. A simple task in the early days, now it was becoming more and more dangerous as
the hostilities between high elfs and my kin as well as human rangers worshipping Tunare, the mother of all living things have increased manyfold. Add to the bowl are the increased sightings of strange undead appearing at nights as if out of nowhere resulting in many missing local villages and you can more or less get a picture of what lay ahead of me. I sighed and decided to stack up on extra magical components in case I ran into trouble and my pet would not be able to handle it. I crossed briefly into a bazaar where with sun raising high all sorts of races called our the trades and invited the travellers to taste some of the rarest delicacies. I passed the guards and gazed upon the rows and rows of merchants. Some of the were tall, olive-skinned erudians famed for their literacy and magical skills. The dwarf warriors were proudly presenting their beautiful work of crafted armor and weapons, catching my eye was a particular old sword that I knew must have cost a fortune because its design was ancient and had runes inscribed over its hilt. I sensed a deep magical abilities of the weapon and asked its owner, a stunningly beautiful half human, half elf lady where she had got it. Her dark blue eyes pierced me through, frowning at my light blue sking color betraying me as dark elf and said "Nothing where your kind can travel to" before she said something more final, I showed her my
symbol of member of the all-race mage guild, that had seals by all races, excluding the newly discovered races. She lingered for a moment and said "I see you have embarked on a learning path. Perhaps I can give you a hint where you can obtain one, although I cannot sell this blade due to current war between our nations. You must first find an tormented soul deep in the dungeon in the forest and trade this medallion for her symbol and then take it across the ocean to the Land of the Ice, where you shall meet your final test that will decide if you are worthy of it. I am not going to ask why a man of magical learning wants a warrior's weapon but good luck" With such words, she looked at me again, handing over the medallion. To be honest, I thought to obtain the sword for one of my long time friends, who i've not heard from in a long time. She, was an elf but due to her impatience with pen and dislike to reading dusty books she preferred the outdoors and melee like a common warrior, which she was not. I've managed to persuade her to enlist in one of the famed ranger schools at Qeynos, sadly it was also a far off place where my kind was unwelcome like everywhere else.
The moment we've met before when both were young and mid 20's we've felt an attraction which grew into a friendship. She quickly realized that I was harmless to her and proceeded to tease the hell out of me when she learned that i've spent almost my entire life behind the books studying the nether realms.
Not to be outdone, I've shown her my fleding summoning abilities and was able to summon a rather weak water elemental which because being dumb immediately proceeded to attack her with his water sprouting ability. I still smile at the mess we did trying to defeat it. Nobody was in real danger, and elemental was getting confused with all the commands i was throwing at him.
At one moment, a high level wizard who was passing by smiled at us and blasted the elemental into the world where it came from.
Left later alone me and Lainie talked until the sun fell down and discovered each other...
Taking the medallion from the hand of this woman, i've thanked her for information and offered to pay her to which she declined.
Glancing towards the lively bazaar and the civilization it represented I inwardly sighed again and slowly made my way out of the city by following the common path. As I was walking near to the entrance of the forest I saw a group of strangers carrying some of their wounded group mates. And what an interesting group it was. I've never seen an ogre, troll and a dark lef together before joining forces with human and an elf. The Troll's armor was all torn to pieces as if some superhuman force scratched its claws on it. The human limped but with elf managed to keep the massive ogre's bloody body up and moving. I realized that it would take them at least an hour to get near to the first guard post and hurried towards them. Just as I rushed towards them suddenly another dashed out of forest and it was an Ikzar.
My mind blanked for a second remembering all the stories about the race of half human half lizards. I briefly remembered that theirs was an ancient race, just recently rediscovered and that their kin like mine was not particular welcome for some wrongs done a millennia ago in the past. As he ran to his group an arrow and a bolt of dark matter whizzped past him. Despite their state they've managed to grab their weapons and stood ready for my approach.
I raise my left hand with an open palm in motion for peace.
Another time they would have been more wary, but this time they just accepted my word what it was and looked toward the place where the attack came from. Immediately the group made a wall of shield with spears ready to strike at the unseen yet enemy.
Slowly a large number of dark silouhetted shapes appeared. Being quite an adept at magics I've immediately recognized a number of undead among them zombies, skeletons and an undead necromancers. Knowing that the group didn't had much time to survive I quickly concentrated and summoned another fire elemental. The sudden presence of the otherworldy being, which immediately proceeded to cast a fire shield spell around both me and itself caused the undead to halt its advance and look at my pet. Still, they continued to go after the group feelings the scent of blood emanating from bleeding warriors, the scent that drove this things mad. I shook my head and shouted "Pet destroy the enemy" Well, the battle soon was over. Fire elemental was incinerating zombies left and right, while using its advance fighting melee techniques on the spell casting necromances. The group finally believeing that they could make it alive started an advance as well, killing and tearing those that still kept moving.
Ikzard was a leader of the group. He came over to me, grinned
and offered his hand "I'm Tsssarou and we can thank the gods for your good timing" I smiled in return and shook his hand firmly in return "I'm Nolan, the mage and it just seemed you guys needed a small hand" Tsssarou nodded and said "Aye, we are a band of warriors hired by some crazy warlord to find him an entrance to the cave it's rumored exists deep in the mountain and which leads into a dungeon full of treasure. Alas, when we were exploring a certain pass, we have found entrance all right but we found THIS as well, showing the lying around scorched bodies of the undead. It's pure madness to go into there"
I thought about it for awhile and said "I have to go in there, I'm in a quest to obtain an item of great power. Is there any chance that you can show me where that entrance lies? You won't have to go in there you know" I looked him into eye.
He looked me back and laughed. "You are a crazy man, but all right if we can get a healer to our men, we can go early tomorrow and perhaps see what that dungeon holds" He then went to his men and said something. They looked at him listening to his oratoric skill and so was the force of athourity in his voice that in the end the groupmates were eager about the idea just as me.
I was happy, together we complemented well both our shortcoming. I was a caster that was useless in a direct fight, while these guys obviously were experts in dealing direct damage but had no clue how counter the magics. There was one problem. We needed a healer and that meant we would have to ask one of the forest druids for help. I've groaned inwardly about the mental call i had to make to the forest, being an elf and able to communicate with them, but just before i started a hand clapped on my shoulder. Looking up I saw an elf that was in the group and he motined for me to rest. He sat in a meditative pose, closed his eyes and made a call. Immediately I could sense a whole network of voices asking and answering all around us. The sound growing up in volume and suddenly terminating in silence.
He opened his eyes and I could sympathize with the amount of effort the whole thing must have took. I asked him his name.
He shook and said its' best that I don't know him. "Well as you wish, I will respect your choice, but perhaps you can let me call you something other than your real name"
He smiled and said "Sure, call me Morai. My brothers will come soon and heal us, but they will not assist us in out journey tomorrow, because they are peaceful folk...
We got ready to rest before tomorrow's day ahead of us.
Once again fire elemental guarded us in sleep....

Ninou

Name: Ninou Dominitrixx
Race: Erudite (The black intelligent race of Norrath) ;)
Class: Shadow Knight
God: Cazic Thule (Edited to add this, just in case)

Bio: Ninou use to be a Paladin, but then she gave up her soul to evil because she could not over come the nightmares of her up bringing and past. She calls herself the Essence of Sin, because she can turn even Paladins and Clerics into one of her pets at any given moment with her sensuality. She has had many followers across Norrath, and many lovers. She had also killed many, though she claims to be evil, those who know her well knows that she has a good heart in her. She has many demons in her life she is trying to over come, yet sometimes it seems as if she isn't getting anywhere. She has no shame in using her body to get what she wants in life and she usually does get what she wants.

( This is based on my real everquest character, though the bio is shortened considerably. There are many things in Ninou's past and present life that can not be mentioned without going into massive detail. If you have any other questions regarding her character please contact me. Thank you)

Cat-like green eyes scan the masses of people in the EC Tunnel, watching curiously from one person to the next. Slowly a smile tugs at her full red lips as she notices a young Dark Elf woman dressed in leather armor. Her eyes look over the full roundness of the young woman’s backside showing through the scantily clad outfit. Just as she about to say something, a familiar voice spoke up near her. Turning she grins ear to ear as she sees the familiar Paladin casting on a newbie. His stout round little dwarven body standing proud and tall in all it’s worth before the youngster who looked upon him in awe. She moves closer, stalking her prey silently, ignoring the hungry eyed looks from some of the groups of men, she moves up right behind the Dwarf. Bending she flicks her tongue along his ear and whispers, “BOO!”

As he jumps she snickers and takes a step back placing a hand on her hip, her other hand playfully caresses the swell of her breast over her flayed skin tunic. “Hello Barradurn!” She winks at the Paladin then blows a kiss to the startled newbie, laughing as both of their faces flush red. Her eyes seem to glow as she waits for the Dwarf’s reaction, leaning closer to the newbie she whispers seductively, “Ever shagged a Shadow Knight Sweet Cheeks?”

The Newbie’s eyes go round as he stares up that the Erudite, and he stutters on his words as he looks back at Barr,” Thhh…thhhank you for…for the Buffs!” He turns and races wildly out of the tunnel, leaving Ninou in a roar of laughter. She drops to the ground in front of the red faced Dwarf and holds her stomach as she laughs. Through giggles she glances up at him and notices him trying to keep a straight face, she winks then bursts into a new fit of laughter.

Barradurn Mrolen
Race: Dwarf
Class: Paladin of Brell Serilis

Bio: Steadfast Paladin of Brell, Barr long ago lost his innocent and, by his words, narrow view of the peoples of Norrath. While his ways and the company he keeps often draw disdainful looks and words from his Priests, Barr has learned the value of judging others by things not easily seen upon first glance.
Of course, this doesn't apply to orcs. He really hates orcs.
Really.

Barr tried hard to glare at the Shadow Knight. It didn't fool her for a moment.
"Bah, now yer gonna scare off tha younglins." He let his mouth tilt upward slightly, barely noticeable amongst the flame red hairs of his beard. "Poor newbies won't know where ta run now." The Dwarven Paladin took on a mock gaze of thoughtfulness. "Hmm, Shadow Knight or Orc, Shadow Knight or Orc?"
Ninou put on her best pouting look, which finally cause Barr to chuckle aloud. "Now that ye've run off all tha newbs," he winked. "Where shall we go?"

Full stomach and a warm fire after a tired day can surprisingly work as strong as magical sleep spell I thought to myself before falling asleep. I awoke when I felt my pet fire up his shields on me
as i rubbed my eyes i saw it change facing directions very fast.
He seems to be very confused, my poor Lobkin. I chuckled and concentrated on learning what was going on. Soon enough it was clear as magical lights starting appearing from the direction of the forest moving fast as if flying in the air. And indeed it was so! I looked up and saw a group of exceedingly beautifully dressed elfs literary run through the air with a number of their wolf pets running almost as fast as the wind. I felt a familiar surge of the feeling of jealousy. Many were a time when I could only wonder what's like to be able to converse with nature itself, and able to heal anyone at will, to cast an animal form and travel faster under the lights of the stars. I sighed knowing full well, that I had chosen my own calling and wished that perhaps some time in the future I'll be able to learn at least some of the druid magicks. Taking a closer look at the group I saw them engage Morai in excited whispers and catched an occasional look thrown towards me and my pet. I smiled back knowing how definitely nervous even if a bit they must be too seeing how powerful my pets could be. Though they could summon their animal pets, no of the magical professions could summon pets as strong as magicians, it was our Forte, the strongest point. The druids proceeded to heal the wounded, stopping only for a second more before healing the Ogre, who was finally able to fall into a normal sleep after tremendous suffering from his injuries earlier before.
Soon I've joined the group together with the Ikzar, human, elf and druids. I preferred to keep a low profile, only stating my interest in reaching the dungeon called befallen in the legends.
Naturally the talk then gravitated to other dungeons of the world with riches and possible rewards beoynd wildest dreams. Typically, it's very hard to judge an age of the elf, but one from the group caught my attention since he had some white hair and a large scar on his cheekbone. I asked him where did he suffer such an injury. He looked up at me and must have liked something after taking a quick evaluative glance at my eyes.
He said it was awhile ago during the exploration days of the Froglok lands. He was one of the few of the group who survived the long and arduous trek discovering the secrets, and even then they were not able to discover all of it. One of the undead knights managed to catch him with a poisoned blade when he was trying to heal a group member. The druid stopped suddenly, frozen with the memories of that battle and there was a visible fight going inside him as if his rage still fought the peaceful nature of his people. Sensing it, another elf, a very beautiful lady cloacked in a equally stunning and defying the description armor that flowed and changed its color seemingly of its own will. She was much younger than him, that was obvious and there was a love that she felt to him when she touched his face and whispered something. "You must forgive my father for he still dreams of returning back into those accursed dungeons one day and payback for the deaths of his lost friends. I for one would never let him leave me or our family again and would appreciate if you stop asking questions furthermore." With that she glared at me
and shifted a conversation to a different topic with an Ikzar.
He seems to fascinate her. Obviously he was very muscular and intelligent and quickly caught on her interest towards him. As the evening progressed he would get bolder and throw dashing looks at her to which she would seem to become more and more red. Other druids seemed not to pay attention as they kept talking with Morai in hushed voices. I sat across the fire from girls' father who I learned was named Nathaniel and slowly decided to tell him about myself. I was looking to explore this world and was tired of studying the books. Perhaps he could help us and direct to the dungeon and once we were done, would give us a note for his brethren across the mountain for my safe passage. He seemed to think about it for a moment and then he surprised me with. "Nolan, I was thinking more and more about what happened today and now i'm convinced that it was not an accident. Whether it was planned by someone or by a higher design I do not know, but I know that the groups of mercs you helped earlier today was very lucky for you to arrive at exact that moment and similar our home is usually abandonded during this time of year as we have an all elf festivities gathering in a place two days worth of travel. The only reason we were able to come here to help you it was because the deity of the forest that we live in told our high druid for me to remain today. Despite my insistence, my daughter Sylvia decided to stay with me, while my wife and our sons went to festival to represent our house.
These other druids are visitors as well, for though i can't tell you who they are for security reasons, they are high enough you know.." He rolled his eyes up to emphasize his point and said one word "Firiona Vie". Wow I thought, this is getting better and better. Now i'm getting not only into some crazy quest but also into a political sort of thing as well. I wondered what my old teacher back at Neriak mage guild would say now. I grinned involuntary remembering how he was the only one defending my rights to pursue the career of magehood being neutrally aligned. With time I made more friends and even later grew in strength enough for most outspoken of my enemies to quiet, but never enough to stop them from making plots and intrigues concerning my destiny. My master always said "Nolan, you make your own destiny and don't let anyone take charge over that because it's the most precious gift you have in your life. Gods and political leaders are petty and change their favor unpredictably, while your dedication will serve you true in the end" Good old master,
I thought and then caught myself as I must have been quiet for awhile now judging by the look of honest interest in the eyes of the old druid. I told him "Old memories" and smiled. He nodded and smiled as well. He then suprised me again. "Don't pay attention to my daughter's words, she thinks i'm too old to take care of myself. Ha! I'm still very strong and my skill is only been getting better. In fact, I want to accompany you and this group tomorrow into the dungeon. My skill of tracking will come handy and a timely teleport as well as superior fighting skills will be necessary to survive" I stared at him in disbelief. My pet sensed my worry and turned to face the druid, firing up his shields brighter. Druid laughed loudly "The poor thing is worried eh? " Well tell it to save its energy for tomorrow because it would be barely able to drag its butt or whatever it's called" Another loud laugh and this time I joined him because despite his tone, i felt sincere joke and my pet did lack definite features. "Night Nathaniel" I said walking back to my bed of snake skins and makeshift wooden boards. The old warrior was already asleep. Druids noticed this and then i felt another bolt of communication passing between them and a forest, this time there was no answer, but I didn't care. Sleep was the only thing i wanted and damn it, i would get it.

Wilhelmm D'Averam

ooc: Will use Last name of D'averam since that is what I am trying to change mine to.

ic:

The world of Norrath has changed in recent times. The five continents of Norrath are no longer satisfactory for hearty adventurers. They have moved to one of Norrath's moons; the hollowed moon called Luclin. T'is a dangerous place; a place where shadows encompass the land, a place full of mysterious dungeons and fabled treasures for the few who would venture so far.

Wilhemm has chosen to remain on the planet though. While he is a worthy adventurer, he hath yet to discover all the rich treasures the continents have to offer.

On this rare occasion, he has come back to his home continent, Antonica. There is little left to do here, except an occasional attempt on the fabled old-world dragons, Lord Nagafen and Lady Vox, or an even rarer sighting and killing of the infamous Zordalicus Ragefire.

However, Wilhelmm is there for neither of those reasons. He is here on business arrangement in the Eastern Commonlands. This place, once the home of the capitalist marketplace, now has only a few merchants. Most have moved to the lands of Luclin as well. However, some merchants still remain on the mainland, and business negotiations are still done here. This is why he is here, to make a possible business exchange.

He runs through the East Commonlands, to the large tunnel. Running inside, he slowly heads for the first torch, running through an occasional shocked look from one of Norrath's youngins.

Wilhelmm D'Averam is an experienced warrior of Norrath. Hailing from the lands of Everfrost, he is a barbarian, standing over 7 feet tall, towering over most other races of the realms. His whitish-gray hair and trimmered beard accent his battle-tried face. He is not terribly aged, still well into his prime as a warrior, but the signs of aging have started to show. Nevertheless, he is still in prime fighting condition. His armor accents his well-built physique.

His equipment shows as another sign of his traveling days. His helmet, vambraces, and bracers gleam of a faded and somewhat rusty golden color. They come from a set of armor known as Indicolite, a rare and powerful armor found in the Plane of Hate.

His boots and gauntlets are of a dark purple texture. They come from the set known as Cobalt, a powerful armor set, with each piece possessing the ability to cast a unique and beneficial incantation.

His Greaves gleam of a much brighter golden. They are of the Bezerker's set, found in the PLane of Growth. Finally, his chestplate is compossed of Velium-encrusted ringmail, bearing a faded brownish color; the armor referred to as Barbed Ringmail.

Wilhelmm bears many weapons. He is most often seen wielding a warsword and axe. THe broadsword, crafted of the finest Velium in Velious, carved very sharply, known as a Polished Velium Warsword. The axe; carved also of velium, with a powerful poison coating the blade, is known as a Velium Warsword.

On a rare occasion, he may be seen with another weapon. Sometimes, it may be a Velium-carved golden spear. Other times, a very large two-handed axe found rarely in the City of Mist, the Axe of Lost Souls.

He finally reaches the first torch found in the tunnel, his desired destination. His associate has yet to show up, so he decides to take a little rest near the torch. Fending off the occasional rude youngin, he relaxes, sitting half-dazed.

An interesting situation catches the corner of his eye and he turns to see the action. A gorgeous and well-built Erudite Shadowknight is sexily swaying, tauting and conversing with a short yet burly Dwarven Paladin.

A rather rare sight it is: most of the time, Paladins and Shadowknights are at war against one another, living their lives in hatred toward the other. It is rare to see them next to each other in a non-hostile situation, much less conversing with one another.

Apparently, both, namely the Erudite had scared off a youngin of Norrath. Wilhelmm looks at the situation unfoldm it brings a smile to his face. Grinning, he thinks to himself "Ah, poor youths. How they survive through such embarrament?"

Needing an effective method to relax himself, he suddenly rises from his sitting position. Once fully erect, he stands, hovering over the shorter races of Norrath, and emits in a rather loud voice "Be there anyone here who have Vodka for sale?" His voice echoes far through the tunnel, startling some of the travelers around him. He finishes speaking and looks about for any vendors.

Enter the Dungeon

I awoke the next morning from a blissful sleep outside. It is always nice not to feel confined within boundaries either man made or by nature. There is something about gazing at the sky and stars on it before falling into sleep. Well, the night was over and when I finally got up, feeling refreshed I could see that the others were awake as well. Walking into the group circle I noticed the old man's glance at me quickly before taking it somewhere else. Feeling something was wrong, I looked at his daughter, Sylvia who seemed to be very busy coaxing her father some food and whispering something into his ear. He still didn't look very happy. I've decided to wait things out a bit and instead walked further to the Ikzar. "Howdy Tsarou. When are you planning to get going because I don't have much time to before I have to report to my guild and really would like to look at dungeon before that." His reply somewhat shocked me. "I'm sorry Nolan, it seems that I won't be able to come with you this time. I've got an urgent order from people who hired my group to come at once. Perhaps we will meet again sometime and travel those dungeons then, but now we must leave. Thank you for coming to help us. I owe you one." With that he extended his hand and I shook it firmly. "I understand Tsarou. I'll be looking forward to that time." I then walked back to Nathaniel and said
"Well it looks like it's going to be just you and me. Ikzar is recalled on some mission." I felt a bit sad, then thought about the fact that the elf didn't react to my words. Looking back at him I saw him nod his head in acknowledgement. He then sighed and waves his hand to his daughter who tried to stop him from talking. "Nolan, I know about them therefore it's going to much harder for me to say more that I too will not be able to join you, as much as I wanted to though. This vixen of a daughter, had convinced me that I have to go with Morai and the rest of the druids you saw as soon as possible. We have to leave for some secret expedition to a god-forsaken place in Velious. I do not know where exactly. It seems that although Firiona Vie was rescued safely from Ikzar outcasts, they have started something within Emerald Jungle. Reports of vampires and tentacled monsters have pervaded that region and we are sent to find out more about it. We are supposed to gate there any moment. I am not sure if that was the reason the forest deity asked for my presence earlier but it seems more important that your dungeon travel my friend." With that he smiled half heartedly at me.
Such was the power of the way he spoke, that I knew he was speaking the truth, trusting me with that sensitive information, I knew many in Neriak would gladly kill for. I sensed that I too could trust this man and at that moment a certain deep friendship was rooted in our hearts. "Nathaniel, I'll miss going with you, but I too think that it's definitely not as much of a challenge for you as your trip." I smiled back at him. "Well then in such case, I wish you luck and will have to hurry as I am planning to leave this kind forest by tonight" With those words, I bowed to Nathaniel and then bowed to Sylvia who seemed to watch me while I spoke.
"Good bye Sylvia" I said to be polite. She rolled her eyes in a sign of gesture that she thought it was a joke and then surprised me by walking over and offering me a handshake of her own. "I didn't share my father's approval of you, considering what goes on, but I can see that you are not bad man, though boring and not speaking much." She smiled at the end watching my reaction like a hawk watches his prey for any sudden movements.
I was briefly stunned by her accurate description and then replied
"Well it was nice meeting you too, Sylvia" and proceeded to leave on the path taking me deep inside forest. I didn't bother checking back, summoning my elemental to follow me. What I did see was a number of elfs bow to Morai while he was speaking, which at this point I didn't care about. He seemed to sense me see him, because he turned and waved. I nodded and waved back.
Feeling rather glum, about losing all the potential company of the people I've just met a day before and just as easily lost today. I wondered if it was just a dream. I hoped that I would meet those people again sometime, but right now I needed to concentrate at my task ahead. In about a few hours of travel, following directions given to me by Tsarou, I was able to come to a clearing that opened into a mountainous region with only hills between it and me. "Well, how bad can it be" I said aloud and went to look for a particular hill that provided a direction to the entrance of the dungeon. After like another half hour I finally found the hill marked with cross nailed deep into the ground. It faced the mountain portion that seemed to glow ever slightly. I had a certain ticklish feeling that always came up when dealing with any things of magical nature. Venturing forward, I came upon a rather narrow entrance hidden within the walls. Before thinking twice about it, I entered the dungeon.
Interesting how visual perspective shifts when vied in light and in the dark. The first thing I have noticed was a rather well made stone path leading to the large stairs to the room below. While being a dark elf guaranteed a lot of problems dealing with various races in a lot of problems, there were definite advantages. First was the naturally superior vision. Dark elfs could see quite well if not better in the dark, due to the fact that all their cities are built deep within the caves. The second best thing were the girls. I reminded myself how really beautifully slender and proportionate they were as I saw a particular exquisite type stroll above, clad only in leather armor and carrying a whip in both hands. She had a long black hair that flowed with each her movement. Her face was small and seemed to attenuate the chiseled features on it. The eyes were of the dark blue color and seemed to enthrall and command an undivided attention. She had a very narrow waist and despite the armor, the outline of her breastplate didn't leave anything to a fantasy as it delienated every shape and curve of her breasts. She had a great little ass followed by a pair of long and slender legs. In short, she was beautiful. I was so engrossed in her beauty that for a short time I forgot about my elemental who had fired down its presence, but now had suddenly turned to face a closest target. Although the stairs and the room were dark, there was a number of torches placed at regular intervals on the walls. I was in the corner hiding by the darkness and was relieved when the object of my pet's attention passed nearby. It was another dark lef, but this one was male. He walked to a female and exchanged some few words with her. Although he was dressed simply in a gray robe, there was enough presence around him for me to realize what specialty he practiced. Necromancer. I grimly realized that this entire dungeon must be full of the undead like the ones I fought yesterday. I didn't like it one bit. Whatever he said had an effect. They both scurried down below and opened a door into one of the rooms below. Suddenly a cry was heard coming from there. I realized that it must be one of the villagers that were missing and that these doors were sound proof. It was time to think about what to do. I had dispelled my elemental in fear that he will not obey me and run over to someone whose magicks he would feel were used to threaten my well - being. I needed to watch this place a bit before venturing any further in. The present place although safe at the moment didn't provide much safety if anyone walked nearbyb. I looked up and saw a ledge about five feet high into the air. "Perfect" I thought. Trying to be as silent as possible, I casted a floating encantation which lifted me up into the air enough for me to grab a hold of the ledge and sit on it. I was relatively safe here. The more I thought about it, the more things didn't look good. I realized that the dungeon must be packed and it would be impossible to get around to prisoners, free them and continue exploration without being discovered. I could only wish if by some miracle either Shadowknight or Paladin would come here, but then again chances of anyone, not even mentioning those coming here were practically non-existent. I was about to leave my hiding spot and get out of here to the village to try to gather any fighters or casters to group to return and raid this dungeon when another group of undead got in, dragging more people with them. My heart sank as I saw them walk en masse to
the stairs below, leaving a few tough looking mummies behind to guard the entrance. "Damn" I cursed, because my exit was just blocked and any hopes of leaving this place unmolested were growing smaller by each passing moment...

Mae (get the nickname here at Lit now? lol) is a playful spirit, borne to a reclusive elven mother's tryst with an unnamed travelling man with uninhibited wanderlust. She is compassionate, helpful, and a bit on the naughty side at times! However much she may care for her friends, she wraps solitude about her carefully, letting none get too close. Regardless of these barriers, she does not like to solo much, and would rather travel the worlds abroad than gain experiences alone. She always enjoys peeking her head into a new nook or cranny to explore something she has not seen yet!

Ah well, all I have for now my fellow gamers...
*hugs*

/OOC Mae!! Welcome and *hugs* to you fellow adventurer.
I didn't even bother to buy SoL, figured it's gonna take at least 2-3 months for things and economy to stabilize :) I too don't like to bother exp too much, preferring to travel and seek the unknown, mostly solo though. I'm in a guild that's quite fitting because it's small, just an occasional shout amongst us and very occasional parties :) Anyways, welcome and *hugs* again! To all other EQ'ers come on in, introduce yourselves and just say hi if you like. No demands to post or anything lol. I'm just sort of writing stuff if there is a flow inside me. Regards, and Happy Holidays to ALL. N

/OOC I'm a slacker :( Sorry work has kinda taken me out of my creative mood when it comes to EQ. I have just ordered SoL and the only thing it will be of use for is making me a kitty! ;) Hehehe I slack in game as well which is why I'm not 60 like I should be! ;)
I promise as soon as I can get my juices flowing (so to speak) I'll post and then beat on Wanderer D until he posts again too! :D

Bah, we're all slackers. :) On a more eq-related note; God I hate Lodizal. Damn bastard Turtle with his damn summoning and his damn hard hitting. Hate that guy. Thank god I got some Lodizal Shell boots (guild who killed 'em didn't want them, and gave 'em to me since our guild tried and failed to kill it; no one else needed)

In any case, I'm a self-buffing warrior, :). Oh yea, and if I have to clear one more train in KC, I swear, I'm gonna frickin start training the damn skellies and shadows in the zone onto the dogs. I HATE that zone!!

Oh yea, and LoTR was a kick-ass movie, and does anyone know of a good hunting zone in Luclin (with good loot, decent XP) for lvl 49 warrior?

Can't... Breathe... Must... Get... Phat Loot... to sell.. for.. buy.. Runed Bolster Belt. Must... clear... more n0b... trains.. in... KC.

*Cough.. Cough...wheeze...loud breathing. :)

Btw, here's a personal tip. If you can get a group together, the Tunnel in CHardok is a kick-ass place to hunt. Good XP and pretty good look. I've been there 2 times so far, have had at least 2 drops every time; 6 the 1st time.

Nice drops include, Jagged BLade of Mourning, Sarnak Earring of Station, etc.

Be warned, if you are a caster, it is really reccomended that you're 50+ to go there. The mob are usually lvl 45-51, and can be done without a chanter, as long as you have some decent alternate CC (necros work well here, as do wizzies and Shammie and druids). You do need a cleric though; the mobs hit hard.

/OOC Thanks Kraz.

Sighs.... Very single again I'm afraid! :( No man can handle me, lol, and all the ones who could are married! :D No, I am not posting more pictures of me, besides I don't have any new ones! ;)

You know, we have so much ooc talking going on in this thread we should just make this the ooc thread and make a whole new thread for the story only. I really don't think lvls and such is needed, nor talking about all the equipment you have...just form a story right? ;) I'll post soon when I can, I got this sexual/mythical vibe thing going only at the same time writer's block :-/ Ugh....
