I actually recorded a couple of poems yesterday, soon to appear on site (hopefully).
I don't sound at all like I thought I did. I sound like a radio DJ or a game-show host.

I got Mistress to record my first two poems, because a) I don't have the equipment and b) I wanted to hear how she sounds. They're posted on site, under jared.woods.

Just

a mike and a decent soundcard. They were recorded on a shit mike on a mates computer. I actually had to interrupt him and his girlfriend's "time alone" to use his setup.
She wasn't happy.

The band I was in in High School was awful. I either sounded like I was desperately trying to rip off Chris Cornell or Trey Parker singing the song during the end credits of Orgazmo. Sheesh.
