I think we all have small missed shots here and there but there are some that can stand out. For me the biggest missed opportunity was with another woman. Now I love men although I consider myself to be bisexual but back in college I took a part time job for some extra money and it put me working with this amazing red haired angel. We got along instantly and were close friends super quick. I can honestly say a large part of me instantly loved her. Life called and was pulling us in two different directions. Hers to go and move with her fiance and me to where I needed to go. So I guess this was the moment to carry on as we had been or throw it all to the wind. We chose to keep the paths we were on and said our goodbyes. A year later another friend mentioned to me had I made the move she would have left it all for me and it got me thinking what could have been. I am happy now in life but that was my big moment of a missed opportunity that is always in the back of my mind.

I have several I could list. I'll start with the earliest. I had just graduated from high school. I was 18, and the older sister of a one of my friends sent me a message stating something to the effect that she knew I wanted her, she wanted me also, and to make it happen we had to get together that weekend. She was three years older than me, gorgeous, with long black hair, a perfect hour glass figure, and a free-spirit hippy girl disposition. She frequently supplied alcohol for us, and shared weed with us whenever we we low. She was kind of a goddess, to me.
Well, the rest of her message explained the reason for her urgency. Her boyfriend was getting out of jail on Monday, so if we were going to hook up, it had to be the weekend prior to. Eighteen year old me took a lot of risks, but incurring the wrath of a jealous ex-con was not one I was willing to take. So I passed.
