In Cyberland I have done IT on first chat many times, but that got boring quickly.

In rl, technically only twice on the first date. More often someone I met at a party, the same night, or someone I knew vaguely, before ever going out on a date. That first time I sort of regretted it, as he didn't interest me much, but no serious regrets, and I was lucky I never caught anything (the Age of the Pill!).

The second time was a bearded American, from Maryland, who I met in a tram in Amsterdam on the way home from work... we got chatting, he told me he was looking for a wife. I went to dinner with him instead of home, then to his place and his bed.... In the morning I was ready to just leave and remember a nice night (having not exactly presented myself as wife material) but he came out with such a sweet line....

"HEY! Are you the kind of girl who just uses a guy for one night??!!" That lasted nearly a year, with a couple of breaks.

Now, if I could just find another, much nicer, much sexier beard-wearer in Maryland..... Does anyone know someone like that?

I am talking about a regular...go to dinner, movie, what happens next...kind of date.

Online couples who have been intense emotionally online for months, then fuck I don't consider first date material. I am talking not really know that person and fucking them just for the simple fact you are attracted to them at that moment. No strings attached, don't know if you will hear from them again or not, kind of thing.

A couple of years ago I was on holiday in Corfu with my family, me and my younger sister met a couple of 20something girls in a bar (the resort was filled with older couples, I guess we were the only free spirits there). We got talking, and later on that night I had possibly the best night of my life. Fucked the same girl again a couple of nights later, never seen her since. But that's the way life is, you don't expect much and then along comes a bonus, for a while, then it's gone.
