Back in high school, I had the most terrible crush on my foreign language teacher. She was really attractive and a really nice person, but she dressed conservatively and actually left her job after a couple of years and I never did see her again. But I still dream about her to this day . . . do any of you have stories about crushes or affairs with teachers/professors? For me, I think it was the combination of the beauty of an older woman and a position of authority that combined to make a killer crush . . .

I teach, and I can tell you, you are not the only guy with this fantasy. I try to be tactful and pretend not to notice when my male students are fantasising about me and getting hard in class, but you can't help but notice.

Do you really think it's mostly male students attracted to female teachers? I remember when I was in school myself, there were a healthy number of girls who fantasised about their teachers.

Back when I was in High School I had a hispanic spanish teacher who was so hot. I had her as teacher in sophmore and part of junior year. She had dated an Algebra teacher in the HS. I would say that Crushes on Teachers is commonplace. This goes for both Sexes. I've experienced both sides of the issue.

One time, my friends and i were asking what she had planned for the weekend, when she told us her and her boyfriend were planning on going away.

After 30 years of teaching I can only say that most student/teacher crushes are often unnoticed or simply fade away..however.. there can be in everyones life, a real soulmate, who by some twist of fate happens into your classroom. This once in a lifetime situation illicits feelings and problems that are so insurmountable that nothing happens..yet both go on never forgetting the moment..and if by some huge stroke of luck Dodie is reading this, she will know to respond...

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with this desire . . . For me, it's still active, and I really believe that if I saw the teacher who I have a crush on (who I mentioned in the original post) I would do everything possible to pursue her. Unregistered teacher, you probably don't realize how much some of those students want you and what they would do for you; I know now that I'd do practically anything for my Italian high school Latin teacher. Perhaps one day, you'll find some special guy in there who has more than just a hard-on for you and you'll indulge a little bit and disregard the rules, see how much you can enjoy yourself and each other . . .

I had a major crush on an instructor that I had while on active duty in the Navy... but of course that was a HUGE no-no and could have meant the end of both our careers if anything happened... So I kept things to myself and dealt with the frustration of seeing him every night in class... It wasn't until our class graduated and we had a small get together for drinks that I found out that the attraction was mutual... But since I would be leaving the next day it just wasn't meant to be... I went to an all boys boarding school based on the English model and almost all the teachers were men. The best we could hope for is to see one of the teacher's daughters or one or two of the spouses of one of the younger teachers. On the rare occasion that a one of these women joined us for dinner, about 300 pairs of eyes would lock onto her and wouldn't leave until she left the room. Talk about wild hormones. I wonder what the ladies thought of it?

In undergraduate studies and graduate studies, almost all the teachers were men also (even though both schools were coeducational).

I know it's very peculiar, but with my education, my emotional response to the word "teacher" is purely masculine even though I know that most teachers are women. I had a date with a teacher that was my age after I was done with undergraduate and I felt very uncomfortable because of this "masculine" emotional response.

I had a crush on my h.s. English and drama teacher, who was only 4-5 years older than I was. She was very kind and supportive of me when I needed it, and I am forever in her debt.

I had a sleazy male professor once who was interested in me. He was careful to make his interest as clear as possible but as impossible to prove as possible so there was no real risk of getting exposed and fired. I did flirt at the first with him, I admit that. It was sort of cool, this male authority guy checking me out, but then at some point it wasn't just a fun little recreational activity for me and got creepy. I straightened up my act, and he wasn't dangerous or anything. I think most of this hot for teacher stuff is very cool as fantasy but really messed up in reality.
