Sounds like at least a few Dems can read the political tea leaves foretelling the coming political extermination of Democrats next Fall:

Moderate Dems defy Pelosi and 'Squad,' block $3.5T spending plan until infrastructure passes
Other Dems already pushing back, say votes aren't there to pass infrastructure bill until Senate passes reconciliation
By Tyler Olson , Jacqui Heinrich | Fox News

A group of moderate House Democrats is threatening to torpedo their party's $3.5 trillion spending plan unless House Speaker Nancy Pelosi brings the bipartisan infrastructure bill for a vote first – an act of direct defiance to the speaker and a bold exertion of power with Democrats holding just a slim majority in the chamber.

"Some have suggested that we hold off on considering the Senate infrastructure bill for months – until the reconciliation process is completed. We disagree," the group of nine Democrats said in the letter. "With the livelihoods of hardworking American families at stake, we simply can’t afford months of unnecessary delays and risk squandering this once-in-a-century, bipartisan infrastructure package."

The group added: "We will not consider voting for a budget resolution until the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act passes the House and is signed into law."

The nine Democrats who signed the letter are Reps. Josh Gottheimer, D-N.J.; Jared Golden, D-Maine.; Carolyn Bourdeaux, D-Ga.; Filemon Vela, D-Texas; Henry Cuellar, D-Texas; Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas; Ed Case, D-Hawaii; Jim Costa, D-Calif.; and Kurt Schrader, D-Ore.

I think you are nuts for sure

Yes, moderates and progressives are posturing again. Both sides will compromise because of the political pressure to do so.

They need to smoke more dope

Those that don't like Pelosi and Bernie and the Squat (not a typo) need to smoke more dope. With enough drugs twisting their logic they could come around to the wisdom of these people.

You realize how you look when you call someone else "nuts," right.

Ah, yeah! Someone who posts from bullshit sources constantly or just post opinions....yep, I do think you are nuts.

You have been living in the middle of nowhere for too long.

So true. $700B a year and these dopes can't even defeat a tiny band of goat herds from the Seventh Century.

Cut. Deep.

All that's needed is to cut the civil action bullshit, social justice crap, and get back to basic killing the enemy on an industrial scale training.

The retreating Afghan Army may foretell our next military conflict if the success of the US Army's training doctrine in Afghanistan is any representation of our own. Right now the Afghan Army is in total collapse. Biden is sending back in 3000 troops to evacuate our Embassy personnel.

Every source is bullshit, except your adolescent communist sources.

Tell me how much bullshit there is in the article I just posted.

One wonders of Pelosi isn't clinging to the ceiling right now screeching down at her staff, "find them, bring them to me!":D

I think there is currently enough will to fight in the NCO level on down. Our officer corps is hopelessly corrupt, however.

It's a guarantee that Biden, Schumer and Pelosi are working the phones all day today

I think the warrior class still exists and is fairly strong on into the 03 command level, between the 03 and the 06 level, it is moderate to strong. I think it really begins to taper off into wokeness between the 07 to 010, level. Those are the levels that are closest to the politics of their civilian controllers and whatever ideological controls or influences those controllers may want to confine them to. We used to have general officers who would resign before allowing politics to enter into the operational structures of their commands. Now many are pushed into the structural degeneracy of the "go along to get along" school of thought, and it's trickle down effects.

No, they're politicized and career-oriented, chair-warmers who think fancy tech will win wars.

Not even that anymore, it's diversity, feminism and EQUITY that will win wars.

Pregnant trans teens on SEAL team 6!!! That's going to strike fear into the hearts of our enemies.

LOL ... The USA is fucked.

So, agree or disagree?

We, a diverse group of West Point graduates, are concerned. We are concerned that fellow graduates serving in senior-level, public positions are failing to uphold their oath of office and their commitment to Duty, Honor, Country. Their actions threaten the credibility of an apolitical military.

When leaders betray public faith through deceitful rhetoric, quibbling, or the appearance of unethical behavior, it erodes public trust. When fellow graduates acquiesce to bullying, and fail to defend honorable subordinates, it harms the nation and the Long Gray Line. When fellow graduates fail to respect the checks and balances of government, promote individual power above country, or prize loyalty to individuals over the ideals expressed in the Constitution, it is a travesty to their oath of office.

I don't need to read into this thread because of the obvious fallacy of the premise. It's Rightguard and the other board Trumpettes who are nuts.

How's the reversion of the presidency to Trump today working out, guys? :D

I don't know, you tell me. You're the ones who predicted that ridiculous shit. I don't see it stated by anyone on our side.

Sylent and Vette both mentioned it multiple times.

Nobody on the left has done anything but mocked and ridiculed it.
