Giving thanks for this historical record
During this evangelical time of counting our blessings and preparing for the new year, I'd like to take a moment to thank the Lit Deplorables for openly documenting for historical purposes their embrace of dictators, their trashing of our allies, their promotion of violence against people who do not conform to their narrow fundamentalist definition of appropriate gender behavior, their support of a rapist nominee to the Supreme Court, their support of a pathological liar and serial molester as President, their promotion of terrorism against immigrants and Islamic places of worship, their worship of military style weapons, their disregard for science, and their trashing of future generations to benefit goosing their stock market returns in the short term.
Truly, without this important written historical record, it would be difficult in the future to comprehend the crass attitudes that led to a formerly thriving nation of immigrants and environmental consciousness being run into the ground so rapidly.
Let us bow our heads in a prayer of gratitude to the Deplorables, as we prepare in the coming years for the next Republican-led societal crash...
