From a BBC report.

Government ministers are trying to have
a multi-million pound claim
by tribespeople in Kenya thrown out.

Members of the Masai and Samburu tribes have been killed and hurt by bombs left behind after training exercises.

The Ministry of Defence is trying to get the case heard in Nairobi
rather than London as legal aid is not available in Kenya and this
will halt the case.

There is only one thing I can say to this..... there will never be such a thing as an ethical government.

None of those countries/republics are democracies. Unelected b ureaucrats and a uninformed population breeds this kind of garbage. If people don't get off their dead asses and vote and participate, they deserve the kind of government they get!
Unfortunately, the U.S. is usually the one that has to bail these welfare republics out.....usually with money..sometimes blood.
I used to be disgusted...now I'm just amused.:D

Did I hear someone call the US a democracy?!

How much of grandpa's old cough tonic would you need to drink to make that fantasy a reality? Because I talked to pappy and he's got 3 kegs of his magic hootch all ready for me to partake of.

The US is a republic. We don't vote on most issues, but we elect people to offices because we think that they might vote the way we'd like them to vote on certain issues.

As much as I'd love to vote my own freedom away as our congressmen and senators are doing now...I'll just have to hope that someone else can do it for me.
