I am looking for a very specific type of story that doesn't really fit in to the usual categories, where the protagonist gets herself into an unfortunate situation that excalates beyond her control to ridiculous proportions.
I think intent is important here. The 'victim' has no desire to enter this situation and tries to apply reason to extract herself, but through ridiculous chance and circumstance gets deeper and deeper. I would also prefer if there is no bad guy - so her getting deep is just a consequnce of bad luck and extraordinary circumstance. It probably works best with homour since it has to be a little far fetched.
We probably need an example of what I mean. There is a story called "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Prom" by Arthur Saxon (it is on asstr.org but I don't think it contains anything that couldn't be on literotica) where a girl on route to the prom is having nerves and has to stop quickly at a roadside restroom. This is incredibly filthy, but she feels she has to go ahead anyway, but of course slips and messes her dress. She takes steps to 'fix' the problem but at every stage it gets worse and worse and she ends up naked and covered in (other people's) poo.
Obviously that is a rather gross example and not at all erotic if you don't have a scat fetish (I don't!) but it is a fascinating construction in my opinion. So, does anyone know of any (hopefully non-poo) stories that employ a similar narrative, where a girl is forced into ridiculous sexual circumstances by chance and misfortune beyond her control, but also with no evil antagonist? It doesn't need to be terrible hardcore, but should be very embarrassing and humiliating for the girl.
