It was a popular diagnosis in Western nations, during the Victorian era, for women who exhibited a wide array of symptoms including faintness, nervousness, insomnia, fluid retention, heaviness in abdomen, muscle spasm, shortness of breath, irritability, loss of appetite for food or sex, and a "tendency to cause trouble".

Patients diagnosed with female hysteria would sometimes undergo "pelvic massage" — manual stimulation of the woman's genitals by the doctor to "hysterical paroxysm", which is now recognized as orgasm. [...] Hysteria was noted quite often in virgins, nuns, widows and, occasionally, married women.

So!... I'd like to read stories about virginal and / or sexually deprived women in the Victorian era who have this condition, and undergo having pelvic massage as treatment. I want to read lavish detail of a woman holding up her skirts / petticoats, etc, and being driven crazy by odd early vibrators held by secretly wildly aroused doctors.
The doctor who performs this massage (very clinical in nature) becomes secretly sexually aroused, and the woman opens her thighs and has an incredible orgasm, possibly squirting over his face.. and the patient probably goes back for more.

It is an interestig treatment. ;)

I am curious, do you want to just leave it at the treatment, say leaving the doctor with blueballs type thing, or expound on it to include other things that happened using that as an excuse. For example, many times a nurse would be given the task of applying the treatment, at the time, all nurses were female so you have lesbian sex in the puritanical victorian england that is condoned and encouraged. Not to mention the fact that during this treatment she is rather ill disposed to saying no to most anything the doctor asks her to do, for instance, having sex with said doctor.

Also, it is not always administered by a doctor, there were therapists that would go around and administer the treatment, usually to several woman a day, seeing the same ones each week. They more or less were nothing more than gigolo's, giving the wife something the husband probably was not willing to do. Like sex, to many sex was only for procreation, if you have the number of kids you want there was no sex. Well at least not with the wife, prostitutes were easily found then so the men had it aplenty, the women on the other hand had to resort to getting diagnosed with that if her husband would not do her.
