Erotic story markets

Sigh...does this mean no one knows?

Lil...whether this will work or not..but have you tried approaching the mens or ladies magazines? In the UK, I had three published in Knave ( a mens mag...soft porn pictures..but hardcore letters and stories) and I got paid..plus 12 months free subscription!

There are porn mags that publish nothing but stories (with a few poor pics or drawings. There are other mags that have pretty good pics and decent stories, some with nothing but pics with a few captions. I alsways went for the ones that had good pics and stories, and I spent $50-$100 a month on porn. That was all before I lost my job. Now I get my stories from ASSTR or here for free.

There will always be people who are will to pay for a good mag or even book, but I have no idea how much those pubs will pay an author for a story.

I am aware that there are magazines, lol. What I want is the names of these magazines. I can do the research from there, but I need to know names...lol

Lil honey...If I knew the names over here..or if I find them, I'll let you know..but why not try a newsagents shop? Shit, wait, you don't have them over here do you? Okay...go to where you can buy them lol

I would recommend taking a look at the Writers Market
where are tons of listings for publications for magazines,
etc. There are some magazines out that do take erotic
material..........you don' have to buy it (its $29.95 I think)
as you can go check it out in the reference section of your
library or go to a local bookstore and just copy
names/websites etc. of diff publications :)

I wish you luck! :)

mags:

Bedroom Games - Vanity Pub. NY
Erotic Stories - Portland Pub. London
Buttime Stories - Full Deck Productions, West Redding, Conn.
From Behind - Far East Pub. NY

Book publishers:
Headline - London
Carroll & Graf - NY
Blue Moon - NY
Nexus Books - London

The first three are big in erotic fiction, I don't know about Nexus.

The Erotica Readers and Writer's Association has a great website, including a regularly updated page listing current calls for submissions from magazines, book publishers, anthology editors, and webzines. They've also got lots of good articles about intellectual property rights, copyright law and reprinting rights, writing strategies, audience considerations, and other authorship issues.
