Okay, this one is out there and I don’t think it could really be done on this site (I mean, you could dump a rule book but most players would want a convenient PDF)
Anyway, I’ve been playing some solo RPGs lately and they’ve been doing wonders for my creativity. I play the journaling kind where you get a prompt, you write how the prompt plays out, and then you move onto the next prompt. The game ending when you either run out of resources (for example “Thousand year old vampire has memories and resources: run out of either and the game can end, or it ends if you hit one of the ending prompts) or hit a game over state (another one I played recently has multiple game over scenarios that are determined by drawing cards: draw two jokers and you hit a game over state, some cards ask you to take from a jenga tower and if the tower falls, the game ends. If you draw four kings you hit a game over state). It’s done wonders for my creativity and I thought it would be fun to design an erotic one.
I think the format would be card based with each suit representing a different aspect (for example, I played one where you’re in a haunted house and each suit represents a different aspect of the room (walls, floor, ceilings and gaps) with each having a prompt related to them, another was aspects of the setting: diamonds represented supernatural, heart represented people your ran into, club represented conflict, Spade represented aspects of death
Main thing is I’m not sure what the best premise would be or what the game over scenarios would be (like one I played, you always have the option to walk away) Too grounded and it risks being off-putting, too fantastical and it would have a limited player base.
A couple ideas I had:
1. You play someone reflecting on their previous sexual exploits, each suit representing a different type of memory (heart: a memory of emotional intimacy or bond, club: a conflict, diamond: an extravagant meeting, spade: the ending of a bond)
For example: you draw your first card, it’s the Jack of Diamonds. The prompt: “while out at a club, you are approached by another club goer who offers you something valuable to come back with them for the night. What is offered? Do you accept their offer? If so add one resource to your pile but also draw from the risk deck (made up of jokers and clubs)
2. You are a sex worker (can be modern with Onlyfans, a period piece, or even more fantastical like being in a massive harem). You draw cards to go over past exploits while managing your emotional and physical health)
3. You find a ritual which requires you to engage in acts of lust. If you complete the ritual, you will be granted a desire but the path is dangerous and you could wind up irrevocably changed.
For example: you draw the king of spades: “You must betray someone close to you: a lover, a friend, a family member? Who are they? How do you go about betraying them? How do you feel after the deed is done
IF YOU HAVE DRAWN ALL OTHER KINGS: “the betrayal is discovered. The one you betrayed confronts you with murderous intent and inflicts a grievous wound on you. Do you beg forgiveness or try to fight back? When the struggle ends turn to ENDINGS: Failure
Ending: you knew the risks when you began, didn’t you? You knew the ritual would give no protection to you nor would it hold your hand. Whether it was through inaction or your death you have failed and the ritual claims you.
4. A paranormal investigation of a home with a reputation for debauchery. Your task is to discover what happened by living through the intimate encounters of the ghosts that haunted the once lively abode
