What I know of hypnosis is the person who goes under is aware of their surroundings and what they're doing, as well as they cannot/will not "do things they normally would not do". How do you apply BDSM to the mix?

Depends how deep a person is... they're not always as aware. As for not being able to do something against their will that is also true, but for example, in a BDSM setting, someone can be "tied" up without rope, or can be made to orgasm on command or not at all. You can also intensify libido, or put someone in a constant state of wetness for the duration of the session.

There's actually quite a bit you can do. It all depends on how open the mind of the subject is.
