Back in high school I wrote a smut story staged in the Marauder's erra of Harry Potter. I never published it at the time. I found it on my computer the other day and am considering editing and publishing it on lit. Is there an audience for that?

Just to clear things up: there is an audience for pretty much anything and determined by all kinds of factors, mainly the audience you are targeting. Keep that in mind. 🌹KantšŸ‘ šŸ‘ šŸ‘
But above all, enjoy whatever it is you do.

Most Harry Potter erotica stories seem to involve underage (the ages of the main characters) and thus aren't accepted at Literotica. So, keep that in mind on what you write on Harry Potter for posting here.

Considering that the Harry Potter series is/was one of the most popular fantasy novels ever... there will be an audience. My vote >> the more erotic the better, with very loose ties to anything expressly Potter.

IIRC Laurel also rejects stories where characters underage in their original presentations are 'aged' for LIT. Bart and Lisa Simpson, or Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm, fucking as adults won't fly here. Alan Moore's Lost Girls, with known underage characters looking back from adulthood, won't fly here. I'm not sure about 'disguised' fanfic characters -- can Parry Hotter and Ermine Cringer get it on in middle age?

This is my understanding too. Recently, someone found (and reposted) a Laurel post where she stated, "No Harry Potter, no Disney, and no The Simpsons fan-fic on Lit."
