ok well i have been here off and on for quite a while and i do like the stories alot of you are very talented writers. but i also like to read the erotic comics that one finds on the net every now and agian and would like to see some of that here.. I'm sure theres alot of you gifted writers here that could make a comic for us all to enjoy.. i would do it but im no writer or artist lol so i come to rely on thouse of you here that can. thanks for reading and i hope to see some comics some day in the future laters

I have been doing comics for awhile and am preparing a site as I have so many requests,cant seem to post more than one pic here, put one up for you to look at, would like to post whole story but dont where and how.

Alice In Wonderland is a good idea, and in fact, has been done before -CLAMP did a naughty adaptation called Miyuki-chan In Wonderland, and there is a hentai comic I found called Alice First, which is much more explicit.

Although anything Disney related is treading on dangerous territory (though still legal under fair-use laws), I like the idea of adapting an TV animated series -something like YuGiOh would fit within my particular style of drawing, and there are some cute female characters to exploit.

I'm assuming that the Illustrated Story section would potentially host a multi-panel comic of the kind we're talking about, or at least the Erotic Illustration section (though that seems dedicated to single panel images).

Do filter-modified photoshopped picture images count as a creating a comic? This isn't to take anything away from people who do photo-mods, since I've seen some impressive work on that end, but I would have thought it was a different kind of thing?

The image below is a work in progress from Anna333. I wasn't entirely happy with the result at first, but shrinking it down to a size that will be usable on a page composition seems to diffuse the flaws. The only thing missing now is some floor shading. I'm still not 100% sure that this Anna333 story/manga is something worth putting a lot of effort into, but just the practice of working with rough drawn images in the computer to make them look inked and polished is certainly worthwhile.

Do you only see drawing of pencil and ink as the only medium for creating comics? Wasn't the work you posted at the very least colorized with some sort of gradient tool? As an artist, I would think that you would see that the medium as little to do with the creative work. I sure that you realize that art is more than lines on paper. Why would it be the same.

I'm not sure I was making a point about either the medium or the tools, so much as the method of storytelling. I probably expressed myself badly. When I think of a 'comic', I'm most often thinking of the thin newsprint magazines that we all more or less grew up with, or more recently, the compiled graphic novels sold in bookstores, that tell a story through a sequence of images. It just seemed to me, off the cuff, that photo adaptations would limit the extent of that kind of storytelling to what one can find rather than what one can create. But I realize it's also a moot point -none of the stories in the Illustrated Story section fits into the catagory of a comic as I've described, and part of the reason I brought up the issue was to establish if there was even any actual interest in that kind of approach.

Part of it comes from a simple realization on my part that my drawing ablilites will not permit me to create something that is genuinely arousing on it's own merit. The drawing I'm working on now is of Anna333 in bondage, but it's a mild image; one that is suggestive rather than explicit.

The difference, I suspect, has less to do with either effort or methods, but the philosophy behind the creation. No single individual image of Anna333 is likely to cause much arousal -perhaps if I could draw with the delicacy and attention to detail of CLAMP or Kosuke Fujishima, it would be different. Instead, I have to rely on the culmination of the entire story, and to try and make Anna333 as real within her world was possible.

Ultimately, I think I was trying to fish for a workable definition for what people might be looking for in this catagory. I'm entirely aware that I might have the wrong end of the stick in that regard. Having had a look at both the Illustrated Stories and Erotic Illustrations section, I found most of what I found rather uninspiring. Most of the Illustrated Stories contain photos that might be alright, but don't add a great deal to the text, and really aren't that brilliant. There are a few really really nicely rendered images in Erotic Illustrations, and some very badly drawn ones, but none of them I found to be all that terribly erotic on their own. It seems like there must be room for a happy medium in there somewhere, but I'm not sure.

I think that readers will be happier with a good story over great graphics. The graphics that I create are to get me aroused, and I think they turned out pretty cool . But, I have no story...and that's what the people want, I believe.

I tried doing one based on incest, but the trouble was maintaining actors relationship long enough for me to get the materials I need in order to create the comix that I want. What I'm fishing for is a more realistic storyline that I could make into a comic.

The Anna 333 project is taking off in a way I wasn't sure it would at first. But I've managed to come up with drawings that I really like, and a good chunk of the script has been roughed out as well. As Blacksnake has said, it really comes down to what arouses you as an artist, and just the act of creating some of these images has been a great deal of fun (though perhaps not for my wife, who simply stated, 'I'm not saying a word!'). I'm rather happy with the way the image here included has turned out, though I'm still hedging a bit on the background and the exact cut-off point for the bottom of the picture.

The real challenge may come when it comes to putting it all together, text and pictures, in a single document. I'm assuming it all has to be put together as a .doc in Microsoft Word, but it is a bit of an imperfect program when it comes to dealing with images (though it could just be my inexperience in that regard).

i like the artwork you all have decided to share its pretty good and anytype of art work that you prefer to use is considered art even if its made in ms paint or freehand drawn even adobe photoshop made your makeing it right witch would make it artwork. and as far as themes go hell go with what makes you inspiried weither its yu-gi-ho or disn'y or jap anime or walt disney im sure you have all seen jab's work in the disney catagory. i have found a few pretty good comics in the hentai cat. i was going to post one but it wont thake that format and if you would like to see what i was refering to then you can hit me up on yahoo at th3_k1ng_0f_s0uls just let me knwo your from this board and i'll be happy to send you a comic if you have msn messanger as well as the comics are to larg of files to send through yahoo i my self like the final fantsay atagory as there is plenty to work with. this pic isn't my art work but is still nice to check out lol the work is really good and should answer the question about useing photoshop...

Of Anna 33 - A Love Triangle For A New Age has been finished and submitted. A total of 12 images and over 2000 words, all told. Fingers crossed it gets posted more or less intact -still a bit vague on how Illustrated Stories are actually handled as far as posting is concerned, but we'll see.

My first Illustrated Story for Literotica is finally up. As a first stab at the genre, I guess I should be happy with the results, though as is often the case when looking back at my work, I'm always struck by the things I should have changed or improved. I can recommend many. Big Breasted Vampire Death from Pickle Press is a funny book about sex and vampires. Shaundra: Slave to Pleasure by Philo is a great book about a sword-swinging she-male. Carnal Comics' Demi books are fun and cute. Basement Comics' prints great cheesecake books. Housewives at Play has hardcore lesbian domination and fetish, and Bitch in Heat has amazing art and great stories.

Although I still find it hard to look at now that it's done, the overall response to Of Anna 333 was surprisingly positive, and naturally leads me to consider yet another Illustrated Story.

Having gotten my DVD copy of Memories this past week, I was thinking of doing an erotic ghost story as inspired by the 'Magnetic Rose' sequence, but that idea didn't get much past the spark.

More seriously, I'm thinking of 'Daughter of Wonderland', which would feature a young woman who, as a descendant of the original Alice, encounters the dark and seductive side of this shadow realm of non-reality. Not a completely original idea -CLAMP used a similiar premise for their satirical and naughty 'Miyuki-Chan In Wonderland', but I think it could be worth doing nonetheless. The original Alice In Wonderland fit the very definition of an illustrated story, so the format would be a perfect fit.

The included picture is NOT mine, but is certainly interesting and thought provoking -and perhaps even a little erotic, if in a dangerous and disturbing way. I intend to make my main character a bit older in appearance, and will likely stick to the black-and-white Manga look -though I will try it in color if I think it works.
