first of all, hi!

i have a question which my girlfriends and i have argued about for many years. how much of an erection is within a guy's control? for instance... can you absolutely NOT want to have sex and still maintain an erection?

then logistically... can a female rape a male- can a vagina force itself on an unwilling guy's penis? wouldn't most guys loose their erection? how easy is it to control one? if a guy is not turned on and really didn't want to have sex but say a girl starts giving him a handjob, will he get a boner anyway?

has anyone heard of cases of girls raping guys? and of course i mean by traditional intercourse, not ass raping a guy with a strap on.

and also... how often do guys get erections? i know younger guys get hard at random times regardless of wheter theyre turned on or not even. but as a guy ages... say when hes in his 30's, does he still get many random hardons or does he only get erections when he really tries? will seeing a hot chick walking down the street do it? or brush on a crowded bus? a hand actually rubbing it?

can a guy get a hardon even whe theyre grossed out? say... while seeing your naked sixty year old male neighbor taking out the dentures before going to bed?

Yes...

... men have 'random' erections, so to speak. There are statistics but I don't know the average from the top of my head, but it's like they have 5 erections during the night alone. This does not even mean they have a so called wet dream, as far as I know. They usualy wake up with an erection also (at least.... most men I had relationships with did). During the day they will have erections also. That is also not 100% because of sexual thoughts. It is a biological thing that happens and is hard to influence.

I'm not sure about the answer to the rape scenario. Have not looked into that one. But what I do know is that one woman was once considered to be a willing participant in a rape-case, just because they somehow had established she was wet during the act. Conclusion: she wanted it. That is bullshit. Some women are better and more regularly lubricated down there than others. I am, for one... this does not mean I'm always ready and willing to have sex....
I think the brain sends out a message whenever an act of possible sexual content is started, causing men to have erections and women to get wet... even if the sexual act is not desired....

Yes and no. There's been times where I wasn't in the mood but, after enough physical stimulation, got an erection and figured, "what the hell?".

Yes, he will get an erection. I've heard many stories of women who have been raped and stated that they felt so much shame because, although they were mentally unwilling, their bodies "betrayed" them and they felt some physical pleasure. I'm sure that it would be the same for guys.

I'm almost 31 and I can say that I get random erections all the time... All it takes is a random naughty thought, seeing an attractive woman (which leads to those random naughty thoughts), or even wearing a pair of jeans that are a bit too tight... Pretty much anything can cause it.

Yes, even guys in their 30's or, gasp, 40's get random erections. And it doesn't take much Something about our dirty minds thinking of sex every 10 seconds or so.

Do we have control over them? Not as much as we'd like to admit or wish we had. So I would think raping a man is very possible; no matter how ugly she is or unwilling we are.

The funny thing is that the control seems to be one way. Getting the erection is much easier than supressing one. At least at a younger age. I'll let you know if that changes in a few years.
