If an erect penis were horizontal from the man's body, there is an area underneath that goes from the base of the penis to almost the head. A tube like shape that appears to contain liquid. When one presses firmly against this 'tube', the liquid moves to either side of the pressured area.

The urethra

I believe you are talking about the urethra. And it is not filled with anything, until either ejaculation or urination. That's why we can get a little 'cranky' if it gets squeezed too long or too hard when we want release.

you're talking about the spongy tissue around the urethra; any liquid you're pushing around is blood (assuming you're not pushing it out the meatus[slit opening]); whatever comes out, is clear fluid from the Cowper's glands.

You appear to have done some in depth physical study of this, did anything untoward happen while you were massaging said protruding tube

Can't add anything love, just as the others say, it's the 'urethra', or maybe discharge tube, could call it the gun barrel I suppose.

Some mistake it for a big blue vein, hence the term 'blue vein shuffle'

From a personal perspective it seems to have most to do with whether I am standing in front of a china repository or whether being affectionate with someone that is definitely not made of china and has soft skin and a delicate touch that sends shivers . . .

but it definitely knows! and it won't let both happen at once... and usually not for a while afterwards either... Lesson number one, always pee before long bouts of sex.

I just have to say thank you to everyone for helping me out.

My questions arose from a story I've been writing. And yes, I have taken close visual and physical note of the penis (and will continue doing so - there's absolutely nothing like hands on research. )


Do you think it is a physical stimulation of the penis that lets it know when it's time to urinate, or is it a complete mental act? From what you said OND, it's a mixture of both.

Thanks for posting these queries, WSO, I've never really thought about this before, but now I know a little, I have sooo many questions.

I always thought the two different liquids came from different tubes. I know, there's only one hole at the top, but I imagined the two would joined just beneath the surface. I'll never look at a penis in the same way again.

Have any of you guys ever felt the need to pee, while ejaculating?

I would ask the hubby, but that's boring.

yep....

it can be quite distracting..sometimes making it difficult to cum....then need to let erection subside to go pee...or else THAT will also be awkard.

LOL! I can imagine you'd be wishing you had a ricochet plate on the ceiling, in those circumstances.

Too involved in the good sensations at that point to worry about the rest. It takes your mind off the need so to speak. I have noticed however, that the need to pee can stave off an impending orgasm. The longest I ever lasted was when I had to pee, the only problem was once we were done I couldn't for a while. The bladder was saying Yes Yes Yes!!! but the prostate was saying I ain't done yet!

I don't know about a ricochet plate but it does make for some REALLY strange standing positions. And if you're really a mathematician its a pretty good practical test of your ability to calculate an arc to plus or minus 6 inches or so (15 cm?).
