Correctly used, EPIPHANY is a noun applied to religious insights, but I get kindred revelations for lotsa secular stuff, too.

I have epiphanies all the time. The latest involves in articulate knowledge. I spend time observing animals and how they communicate. Generally their noises come with affective meaning. Humans take it further with DUH and HUH.

One of the smartest people ever was a psychiatrist named Milton H. Erickson, M.D. To really get an idea of your own talents consider he got his Bachelors Degree, Masters Degree, and Medical Degree from the University of Wisconsin simultaneously, and he was crippled with polio. He got scholarships and had to pay for it all outta his pocket. Stunning.

But he was really dum in a few ways. He had no clue dictionaries are alphabetical. Every trip to the dictionary he began at "A" and worked his way to whatever word he needed.

As a psychologist IQ scores make me yawn because each of us is a mix of gifts and consolation trophies. I am. In 15 minutes I'll know more about you than your mom knows, because I can tune in to people like few can, but in many ways I wont have a clue if I bought a bag of clues from Amazon.

Much of life, for me, is a struggle. People usta laugh their asses off at me (I'm immune to embarrassment now) but I persisted till I mastered whatever the issue was. It took me 5 whole years to fall over the ending to my lone green E story. And it aint brilliant, its very simple. But no one else could end it, either, tho the end is almost obvious when you read it. I invented duh.

Something I do every day is fall over epiphanies about writing. Something new each day is the goal. I never know what will come along. Today I got an insight about what makes a story interesting. Its simple.
