The political threads seem to have proliferated...

Do they mate? Interbreed...

Single sentence plot summary - What are you writing now.

Erotic stories, you say... what's that?

Mentally battered young woman gains confidence and esteem while having first love affair.

and

His Prom Night was legendary.

I have two stories, but haven't touched either in months.

#1: A sexy, humorous look at the world of Dungeons & Dragons, where a party of adventurers with various sexual quirks embarks on a quest to rid the world of an evil Dominatrix with plans to make the Kingdom of Cummalot her personal sex slaves.

#2: A mad scientist finds a new subject to perform his perverted, evil experiments on. She undergoes many trials before finally escaping.

1. Man stands in Fairy ring in his garden after dark on Midsummer Eve waiting for?

2. His girlfriend's sister is in trouble at University and wants their help to escape from a predatory bully.

3. She inherits the estate of her aunt who was a famous 1930s dancer on condition that she and her partner recreate some of the dance routines.

4. She wakes up to find herself saran-wrapped to a kitchen table.

I think four of the current 32 are enough for this thread.

Og

Damn, Ogg, you be a most impressive man! I almost feel lazy compared to you.

1) Chapter 11 of novel - woman finds herself in a group of people who will give her everything she wants, if she can just figure out how to accept it.
2) Short story - woman plays Cyrano for a less eloquent friend and ends up in her own Cinderella story
3) Short Story - futuristic movie making
4-7) assorted short story revisions
8) Revisions on the novel I already finished
9 ) potential story with a twisted take on Gloria Gaynor's song "I Will Survive"
10) proofing the horrible, dreadful, oh how-could-I, fan fiction I'm posting to Lit.

Plus a few editing chores. I feel busy, somehow. My cat Ben keeps asking "Why aren't the hands petting ME?"

Trying to come up with a summation and conclusion to my "What does it mean to be naked" essay.

Due to my ADHD, several things at once....

1. An edited version of "The Pact", a story on a different site that badly needs revision anyway, and which will go straight to the publisher.
2. Same thing with a story called "Partners and Wives".
3. Another letter in my series of letter-stories with RedHairedandFriendly.
4. Bits and pieces of my novel.
5. Just edited and submitted to Lit a new version of "My Danish Daughter", an incest tale involving an American and his 18 year old daughter by a Danish actress. It's a series, of course.
6. Several other stories are waiting in the wings, including the beginnings of new chapters of "Sergeant's Concubines" and "Ambassador's Life".
7. A lesbian incest story in which I am collaborating with Jessy19.

Dozens of more ideas that have to wait their turn.

Some are more urgent than others.

1)Acclaimed Hollywood director Eliska Svoboda unexpectedly finds love after her best friend from college convinces her to finish directing his gay porn film in Slovakia.

2)Embattled and careworn FBI Agent Cleo Clyde embarks upon her final case, infiltrating an eco-terror group in Oregon.

3)Hannelore Dusek must risk her very soul to save the men she loves in the sweeping Renaissance tale, 'Knight, Death and Devil'.

4)Teenage psychic Odessa Honeywell battles evil in a small southern town.

One of these may actually be finished this century, you never know. ;)

This thread makes me feel like either getting back into trying to finish my stories or abandoning any thought of writing ever again.

Elderly woman in Wales sits down to tell her grandchildren of a day when dragons still soared in the mountains.....but who was the woman brave enough to confront the dragon? And who was the dragon, really?

Never abandon -- take breaks.

You know, I could make a "sex is like writing" analogy here...sometimes holding off with writing is like holding off an orgasm. When you finally, just absolutely HAVE to write because you can't stand it anymore, it's usually much better.

And the whole "sit down every day for an hour and have an orgasm" SOUNDS good in theory, but there are some days you just ain't interested...

1. I should finish the "Shhh" story so Dampy doesn't kill me.
2. Half-done and abandoned: a short story about MS-caused blindness, sex & romance.

4. Half-done and abandoned: follow-up to "I Told You."
Four of them to bug her about! Oh, glee! :D

Me? I'm resting on my laurels, cos Og told me to. Oh, ok. Actually I'm procrastinationg. Eventually I'll start writing one of the 4 abandoned stories that are lying in my writing folder or start this new one that's been hovering around in my mind nowadays.

#1: Working to finish my long-running fanfic story.
#2: Working on my two "How-To" contest entries.

Handsome cop in trouble convinces novelist to help him escape his enemies, hide out, and eventually help him get to safety. Novelist saves cop's life in confrontation with corrupt police officers and they live happily ever after. Almost done with this one.

Back burner: Boy finds out he's the prince of the realm and discovers his ancestral guardian, who has been unaware of his birthright, living homeless and abandoned on the docks. They are kidnapped by the false king's assassin, but instead of taking them back to the palace, the mysterious assassin reveals he's not who he appears. About halfway done with this one?

Planning stages: A spoiled heir to a publishing empire gets a phone call; the empire is his, but only if he takes a job in his own company, starting at the very bottom...
