Man what a fantastic morning. Just wanted to share the beauty it's like out side my window.
The Morning Doves are cooing away, the sun is just starting over the mountain, and the air is cool and sweet.
Soon the playful squirrels will be running around like the little fools they are.
Hell I love the mornings.

Well when I looked out my window I noticed the yard needs mowing. My son will thank you for that lol

But it is a nice morning. A bit warm but hey, it's Texas what do you expect

There are a few birds around. All in all I think it will be a good day

Oh ya make sure he leaves you a spot of tall grass to lay on. LOL

There are things called fire ants here too. But now inside the house is cool and all kinds of fun places

It's raining here...

...but that's not exactly bad. I grew up in a very urban environment; traditionally, I associate the smell of rain with grit and grime.

Here, the smell of rain is much more like the one I remember from summer camp; grren, cleansing. So, depending on where I happen to be during a summer rain (which city I'm in), rain carries with it a comforting sense of nostalgia.

Morning Bob, yes the rain has a sort of hypnotic soothing effect.
Make the best of it, and geat a good cleansing.

I haven't looked outside yet, the coffee just beeped telling me its ready...thats a good start to a morning if I do say so myself.

It is cloudy & muggy. I see my daughter walking across the street to the neighbors (they are going to six flags) and the crickets are chirping away. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Time for that coffee now.........I'm picturing Mr. Rogers..ewwwww... I need to wake up!

I don't have a pic of my yard that I can find, but living on the water provides a find view very often. I think today would be an excellent day for the beach! Might have to go.

I see green grass and flowers on my deck that need to be weeded with the woods in the background.

And the little bunny from two weeks ago is back at the edge of my deck eating dandelions again- Mr. bunny is getting bigger! Still cute though.

Right Now it is dark, considering it's 11:20 pm.

Suuuuuure...come on. There is plenty of room on the other side of that creek. Since we own that good chuck, I'll let you use it for bathing, we can pop a tent, I'll toss some food...aww heck, you should be set back there!!!


I do enjoy it so much, I took a bunch of pics when we moved in last year, and still keep on taking them. The joy of digital cameras. I don't like to bore people with too many though.

looking down ... what's this? ... a u-haul truck across the street...
hmmmmmm new neighbors .... oooooo ..... lots of strong bare backs hauling furniture and boxes ...... well this is a college town and school will be starting soon ...... hmmmmmm i'm enjoying this view ..............................

maybe i should bring over some ice tea and dounuts ....
