Wow I feel the pressure now as you expect all works to be like Oscar's! You may find mine, when finished, is more like the Simpsons!

Great questions, cannot answer them easily! Authors are dependant upon moods, love the Grisham range, love Tom Sharpe's humour, love Pratchett, love Ken Follet etc., as for films, maybe the biggest one that made an impression was 12 Angry Men, music I listen to anything (well not quite - not into rap, garage, street, hip-hop, reggee) but I grew up on AC/DC so I have a fondness for them....and as for what I wear in bed....you will have to peek under the covers lol.

And thanks my little water feature, they may be masculine tastes, not thought about it, but it could be due to me having certain masculine features i like your music taste as well apart from The Smiths, never been one of my main bands, a little to..well how can i say it..introspective and a touch depressing!

With regards to seeing what you have under your covers, then I will try to peek, but you may need to give me a clue! I would like to guess and imagine..hmm..hold on, glasses getting steamed up now!!! Anything else you keep under the covers!

Just one more 'virgin'' to say Hello to you. I'm brand new to the site and just posted a erm *request* for what it is that I am seeking. I adore erotic literature and am a stickler for details as I believe that it makes the stories that much more enjoyable. I like those that are classy, and not those that can be deemed as "wham, bam, thank you, ma'am".

I've had a few of my non erotic works published out there and while they may never be bestsellers, I am proud of them.

Thanks for your message, lol, please tell me where did you post your request and what was it for (as I am still learning the ropes on here as well)! I agree about the details they make it more realistic and lend well to a build up, esp when there is good dialogue that is driving the heat and passion!

Well done on having your own published! I hope to start a 30 week evening course starting in a couple of weeks on creative writing, editing and publishing - as I too would like to get something published!

I had posted my request on The Matchmaker thread.

Writing is a passion fo mine and has been so since I learned how. I was always taken with poetry and descriptions are very important if you want to come across as a serious writer.

Thank you for the comment on having my works published. It was hard, but I think it could have been devinely gifted. It was about an angel experience that I had 5 years ago.

Good Luck on your course! I think you will enjoy it immensely and may you learn so much. I'll say a little prayer that your work is published so that all may read it and not the chosen few here.

Well done on your desire for writing, I hope mine increases as I get the time to develop some ideas - however, time is precious and rare apart from the odd weekend times.

I know getting work published is hard, I went to the London Book Fair a couple of years ago and spoke to publishers and self-publishing companies so I learnt a few tips and met a lot of publishers.

Your kind words and encouragement is very welcome, I appreciate your prayers and any feedback you had with your experience.

Thanks for your reply, I hope that in time my 'status' changes as well, it's a long time I have been in this classification!! I hope to enjoy myself, although I haven't yet discovered the 'really funny' areas! Nor have I found anyone from the UK yet to talk to either lol.
