Max has always had an easy way with women. Since he turned 18 he has slept with women of all ages, colours, and occupations. It started with him being seduced at his own birthday party by the magican's assistant; continued with the wife of the guy next door; the her daughter...

Now in his twenties, Max is a perpetual student and bartender. He still has sex with almost every woman possible- coworkers, customers, salespeople, fellow students, profs, TAs....

Max never pretends to love these women in order to seduce them, after all, he doesn't have to.

All of his chums are amazed at the ease with which he gets laid.

One day Max mentions to a buddy that the one thing he has never done is slept with a woman who is engaged. When chum asks why not, Max replies that "engaged women aren't easy. They are filled up with the idea of one true love."

Where did I see something like this?
I think it was on r/humblebrag where a guy was complaining he cannot make friends/real relationships with women because he ends up sleeping with them.

I always assumed that engaged women would be a very easy target, especially as you get closer and closer to The Big Day. They know that they are soon going to be pledged to one man for the rest of their lives, and can't resist the urge to have that one last fling.

Of course, I've never tested this theory in the field, so it could be full of baloney!

Max is based on a real person. He assured me that married women were easy, as were unmarried ones, because they all just wanted to have a good time. But the engaged ones...
