OOC: This is my first post here at literotica...any creative, intelligent woman who would like to join in, please do so!
David swirled the clear liquid in his glass slowly before lifting it to his lips and taking a long sip. The conference was going well, and he was learning a lot...but the nights were endless.
Friends who had gone through divorce told him the loneliness would set in, no matter how much his wife's infidelity had destroyed his love for her. Tonight, as he sat in the hotel bar, the realization that he was alone hit him like a punch in the stomach.
David's 6'3" frame was perched on a bar stool, and he ran his fingers through his thick brown hair. His muscles ached slightly from the workout he'd enjoyed earlier; as much as he enjoyed a good meal, he needed to exercise to preserve his fit, nicely muscled body. His crisp white dress shirt was open casually at the collar, and he had rolled his sleeves up over his forearms. He had left his suit jacket in his room, but had decided not to change out of the navy pants...he was simply feeling too lazy.
His green eyes idly moved around the bar, and he sipped his drink again.
