Emreled Enchantress year 1812 *open*

Katlin's father had hired tutors secnce she was able to walk to train her in fenceing.. she was equil to or better with a repear than most men... and had learned to sail ships from her father. Infact captined her own crew who were faithfull only to her.

Her ships name was the emreled Enchantress her ship was painted green sails and all so that she blended in with the skys and waters and was harder to spot, and impossable to see in the darkness of the night.

Rarly did she find anything she love more than sailing with the wind filling the sails and the sea changing colors beneath and azure sky or brillant sunset..The sights sounds and smells all made her blood sing in excitment. With Reed her quartermaster and Fenly her second in command they saild the sea's pirating the brittish, and the spanards.

She was dressed in a green pair of mens leggings and a green vest.. She wore no under shirt and had black boots up to her knees. the only other things she wore were her dagger, sword and pistol.

Katlin had lost her father to the war with the british and she was out for revenge aganst any and all brittish feets, the spanish simply for the cargo they carried the money they received for their goods would pay her crew and any repairs and supplies they needed.

Jack was slow and deliberate when it came to swabbing the deck. Everyone on board thought it was because he was a little slow mentally. The real reason he took his time was because it was normally the only time he got to see the ships captain, Kaitlin. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen but he had to always remember not to stare to long as the captain was quick tempered when a member of the crew wasn't doing what he was supposed to.

Jack had now been a member of the crew about 2 years. Kaitlin offered him a spot on her crew when she was in port gathering supplies. Jack was 16 at the time, living on the streets with no family or money. She had watched him from afar as 3 other boys about his age bullied him. When they had pushed him to far, Jack let loose and bloodied all 3 with his fists, before they ran away.

Kaitlin walked up to him, measuring him up as she got closer. He might be handsome she thought if he were cleaned up a bit. She offered him a job in the ships galley at no pay, just a place on the ship. Jack readily accepted the offer and has been on board ever since.

Nami stood in the crows nest of the Emerald Enchantress, gazing out across the sea, her short-cut red locks blowing freely in the wind. There were no ships in visual range, and she allowed herself to sit down and sigh.

It had been a fair few years since she came aboard the Emerald Enchantress of her own volition. That may not have been odd in and of itsself, but the fact that she had approached Katlin's father almost as soon as he had pulled into port and requested to join, now that was wierd.

The petite redhead had originally just been a regular deck hand, until she took over navigation on one voyage. Some way, some how, she had found a shorter route that day, and enabled them to loose their English navy persuers. From that point on, she had become the ship's navigator.

Then, Katlin's father had been killed, and Nami had been unable to save his life. Oh well, she thaught. That's the life of a pirate. To sail and plunder until you meet a blade, buttet, or the hangman.

Shaking herself out of her reverie, Nami stood and smoothed down her short-cut trousers, and flicked a bug off of her too-short vest that barely covered her bosom. Climbing over the side of the crow's nest, she made her way back down to the main decks. Perhaps down here there was something more interesting happening

"Watch out!", Jack called out to Nami but it was too late. She slipped on the part of the main deck that hadn't yet dried. Jack quickly ran over and apologized over and over again, blaming himself for the accident.

When he finally got over to her he looked into her eyes and couldn't tell if she was angry at him or embarrased.

"I'm very sorry ma'am" he said, "I'm trying to get all of my work done before the storm out there on the horizon hits."
