Depends when you base the story. The epilogue of the last Harry Potter book takes place well in to their adult lives.


For anyone who is interested in the Hermione Granger aspect in preference to the RL Emma Watson aspect, I've got an idea that I think would be very interesting.

Remember in the movie where Gary Oldman was the red herring, Hermione had that time-travelling necklace that allowed her to be in two places at once? Well how about a Loving Wives story where, years after they leave hogwarts and she marries Ron, she decides to give Ron a special treat for his birthday. She uses her time traveling necklace to replicate herself so that, from Ron's point of view, he's getting a night of hot love with a pair of twins. And best of all, there's no cheating involved.

For those of you unfamiliar with the theory, here's how it would work:

* Ron goes in to the bedroom and finds himself greeted by two Hermiones, let's call them Hermione A and Hermione B. Hermione A is the normal Hermione, Hermione B is a time-travelling doppelganger.

* Hermione A spends the night having sex with Ron, with help from Hermione B.

* When she wakes up the next morning, Hermione A puts on her time-travel nacklace, goes back in time 12 hours, to the beginning of their little 3-way, and becomes Hermione B. She then proceeds to assist her previous self (Hermione A) to please her husband.

* The next morning Hermione A travels back in time, and once again, there is only one Hermione with Ron.

mythtrav, good point re: book 7. i do tend to forget that the others' b-days are earlier than harry's. and the story in question was the prisoner of azkaban. :>
