Looking at the new submissions today, 3/28, I found a new DG Hear that reinforces my admiration for a fine writer; no shit (pun intended; read the story). And who should be going down to the woods today (but not for the teddybears' picnic) but Penn Lady, kicking off the outdoor sex season with another superlative outing (pun not intended, these characters are straight)? And Surely's back with more of the Monroe saga, as ol' Terry (tie that lady down!) keeps the temp on "high". Way to go, guys! Keep 'em coming (pun definitely intended)!

I Almost Forgot

SilkStockingsLover has an entry in the Earth Day contest that gives new meaning to the term "oil spill"--ol' Silk's characters are spilling an awful lot of fluids their own selves, as they say in East Texas. You go, girl!

Thanks for the encouragement

As always, Estragon, I fully appreciate your encouragement. I submitted chapter 6 yesterday, but it seems it may be a while before it is posted. Currently, non of the editors have viewed the work. I did take your advice and slowed down. Unfortunately, I may not have found all of the issues, so I will look forward to your quibbles when it posts.

Surely, always glad to oblige a lady, especially when she turns out stuff as good as Perils of Plagiarism.

PS- If you're into Anglo-Saxon grunge, take a peek at Miss Lisa Jones' latest: "The Garage."

Surely, An Even Better Explanation

is that I have entirely identified you with your character. You made Terry so real that the difference between author and character dissolved in my mind. It reminds me of a story I heard from the widow of an actor. Her late husband had played a particularly obnoxious character in a long-running, extremely popular television series for the entire run of the show. She said people would ask her, "How can you be married to X?" She replied, "I'm not married to X, I'm married to Y and he's nothing like X." A believable character, whether written or acted, makes one suspend disbelief; that's the mark of great art. And you did it with Terry in Perils of Plagiarism--keep writing!

More Good Stuff

Recently (writing as of 4/27), some real stormers. SydneyBlake's Ch 3 in "How to Save a Life" is a super-five, a real gut-grabber; super good writing! For a real good stroker, check out AmazingGrayce's "Have Tunes, Will Travel". And if you like your BDSM dark and dirty, try Miss Lisa Jones' "Gotcha" series; Ch 6 posted a day or two ago. It's a bit strong for my taste, but others may get off on it.

Go, you writers! Keep on writing!

PS- Advertising. Check out my story "The Sting", posted 4/26.

As of 5/18. DG was on a tear with his Average Joe series; really nice. And Grandmistress Lisa Jones' Stable Boy series really shone with a red-hot finish (pun intended--read the story).

Check out RoniGrace's The Sculptor. A very hot debut, that got a thumbs up from SA Penn Lady and a good review from me.

SA Penn Lady's Morning Sun

It's well-known by now that I worship Penn Lady's work. So I'll spare everyone the hyperbole my enthusiasm generates. Her latest effort Morning Sun is sweet, erotic, gentle and beautiful, and includes a blasting good fuck. My kind of story by a truly gifted writer.

Hey estrogen!

Thanks for the mention (from a while back, but only seeing it now). RL has kept me uber busy and sleep deprived and damn bitchy these past few weeks, but Chapter 6 is getting closer to being finished. I hope to submit in a day or two!

Syd

Syd, It's a super-good series, hot, believable and literate. Now does Mack marry Jen,or does Renata come back? Can't wait for the finale (but will regret it once it's over).

SA Penn Lady

Think nothing of it. Keep writing!:rose::rose::rose:
A rose is a rose is a rose

Grandmaster dweaver 999 is Back

as of 5/30, with Galactic Whore Ch 1. Sci-fi/fantasy isn't my genre, so I pass on commenting (and I wouldn't dare quibble one of the all-time greats, especially in a genre with which I'm unfamiliar). But now I know why I haven't gotten "A New Birth of Freedom Ch 2" licensed--Grandmaster dweaver999 is writing his own stories.

June Is Bustin' Out All Over

and RobinE has made a spectacular debut with "A Rose To Keep". Disabled heroine, hot lesbian sex, great plot and wonderful narration. What could be bad? This writer is a keeper!

June Is Bustin' Out All Over, Part Deux

And ILmonamour has a real stormer of a debut in the Romantic Sports Section with Reading the Defense. Another entry in the SA Penn Lady stakes.

Oh You Syd!

Sydney Blake is on a super-roll with Save a Life Ch 6. Ol' Renata gets out of bed and gets it on with an old friend. And is it hot! Kowabunga!!

June 8, And All's Well

HoHumMum is back with "Back to Haunt Me Ch 1", and Mum's got the ol' groove back, as Janie and Mike keep it all in the family. Not technically excellent, but potentially hot and the premise is interesting. A real recovery from "Jamie's Needs".

And a hot debut by LuciousLoneliness, "The Stranded Motorist". Sheriff's Deputy Liz discovers that helping Janie when her car dies leads to a lot more than simple "thank you." Good hot sex, with real characters.

On a Sad Note

Surely Wilder announced he's taking down his stories and checking out of Literotica. I had my quibbles with Perils of Plagiarism, but his talent and inventiveness were never in question. I'm really sorry he isn't going to finish the series.

I wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors.:rose:

Grandmaster dweaver999 has licensed the next chapter in my A New Birth of Freedom series, and I have submitted Ch 2 for publication. I'd appreciate feedback. I know I have a different view of Valerie and Sally and Charles (and especially Nadine, although she doesn't appear in this chapter), so I'd especially like criticism of how I handle characterization.

Return of Two Professionals

BackyardBottomslash is back from a long layoff, but has it altogether right with "Finally", hot and bittersweet. And michchick98's "Midnight Encounter" is hot, interracial, fast-paced and a top-grade stroker. Good going!

And I've got a "Celebrities" story about a world-class oarswoman just submitted, called "Stroke! Stroke! Stroke!" Hope for some feedback, and hope to avoid the one-bombs.

Syd Does It Again!

Ch 7 of "How to Save a Life" just posted, and Sydney Blake has brought off another episode in a stormer of a series. As I commented publicly, I was worried that the lesbian sex episode in Ch 6 had been dragged in to heat up the story and cover up a want of invention, but Syd brought off a super recovery, and is really on a roll. Good stuff, solid characterization and solid plotting.
