It was late in the day, cold & drizzling and Franklin, the exector of Professor Theodore Elsworth's will was getting antsy, waiting for Erin, Theodore's only blood relative to show and claim her inheritance. The entire estate was hers now, as Theodore went mad and killed himself. Franklin was a student of the professor and apparently the only one left that had any dealings with him in the past five years. He had become a recluse, and not even Franklin knew what he was up to. All he knew was this place felt... Wrong... it set his teeth on edge every time he entered the mansion. The art and decor were vintage, perhaps even antiquated by the look of things.

The most unnerving thing, though, was the painting in the master bedroom that depicted one giant, penetration eye, encircled by wet, grey-green, mottled coils of flesh, like a python weaving about its prey. Franklin swore that every time he looked at it, the coils or the eye were in a different position! It completely unnerved him and so he stayed out of that room.

Just as he thought about the painting and shivered with mild dread and loathing over it, he heard a car pulling in. "Oh, good, she must be here! Give her a quick tour, see that she's settled, hand over the keys and I can get out of here!" He thought to himself walking down the frown steps to go and meet her at her car as she pulled up. He waved, managing his best smile and motioned for her to park as he opened an umbrella.

"Miss Grey, I presume?" He called out to her pulling out the envelope with the keys from his coat pocket. He offered her the shelter of the umbrella as he wore a long, heavy coat and a side brimmed hat. "You look well, I trust the drive here was uneventful?"

(The name is just a place holder, we can change it to whatever you like.)
