Ryan Morris
Age: 35
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 195 lbs.

Ryan Morris was a self-made millionaire. He owned a very successful company that sold consumer electronics to various businesses. He sold it a few years ago for $250 million. He took that money and through good investing he figured he was set for life. He bought 50 acres of land in the country outside of Detroit, Michigan. There is some woods, a natural pond feed by a waterfall and some open fields of land. He built a nice two story house there for him to live in. He had just about everything. The only thing he was missing was someone to share it with. He had gone on a lot of dates over the years but he still hadn't found the one.

The two most important people in his life were his 33 year old sister, Gwenevere. But everyone called her Gwen. And her 10 year old daughter, Annabelle. Ryan and Gwen lost their parents in a car crash a few years ago and Annabelle's father was a one night stand that Gwen had. Gwen and Annabelle lived in the suburbs of Detroit and visited him often.

One night, there was a big thunderstorm. He was watching CNN, when there was a very loud lighting strike. Ryan saw the flash of light and to him it it looked ice blue more than white. Then, a few moments later he heard a knock on his door. He was surprised that anyone would be traveling in this weather. He went to the door and was surprised to see two young women there. One dressed like Elsa from the movie Frozen. The other was dressed like her sister Anna.

The sky mysteriously darkened. Thunders clashed loudly. Lightning flashed brightly and strangely blue instead of white, blinding the sisters’ sight. It was supposed to be a happy day. A day that had been plan in advance, rehearse many times and dream about for years now. A day Queen Elsa supposed to walk her younger, 20 years old sister down the aisle. A day Princess Anna supposed to marry, live happily ever after. It was funny how fast things change.

“El…Elsa, where are we?” the younger sister asked shakily. Her brown eyes scanned the unfamiliar open field. Weren’t they just in her room at the castle second ago? Weren’t she about to shed her day-to-day dress to slip on her wedding dress? Even one of her side braids was undone for an up-do.

The loose strands nested between Elsa’s pale fingers. Her blue eyes widen, but luckily her face was naturally lucid so she didn’t seem to be too horrified. “I don’t know, Anna,” she responded as calmly as she could. Anna, on the other hand, wore all her emotions on her sleeves. Her face said it all. She was surprise, scared, confused and lost. “Anna. Anna. Calm down.” She grabbed her shaky hand. “Look. A house. Let’s find someone.”

The sisters linked hands and trotted toward the house, too big for commoners but too small for a castle. They knocked the front door and found a middle age behind it. He was a good-looking man despite his strange cloths and a very surprise look on his face. He looked rough and gentle at the same time. His blue eyes sparkled in awe and disbelief. The girls didn't understand why. Surely he knew who they are. Right?

“Um, hello. Are you the lord of the house?” Elsa greeted while Anna waved with a wide nervous grin. "I'm Elsa of Arendella. This is my sister, Anna. We somehow were transported here. Can you give us way back to the castle, good sir?"

"Where is here by the way? What's a beautiful home." Anna chimmed in. Her head poked through the door way and eyes wandered at the fancy decors and expensive furnitures.

Ryan couldn't believe what he was hearing. The two women in front of him thought they really were Anna and Elsa. There was no reason for them to do that. There was two logical explanations. One: They were both crazy. That was highly unlikely. Two: they were Anna and Elsa. That was even more unlikely, but it had to be true.

"Um, Thank you," said Ryan when Anna complemented his house. He didn't know what to tell Anna and Elsa. "Um, why don't you two, come on in..." The front door opened into the living room. It is was nicely decorated, with some pictures of Ryan and his family. The large screen TV, on the other side of the room, was on CNN. The fire in the fireplace was already going, so he had the two of them sit on the couch, in front of the fire "My name's Ryan, by the way and rhere are some things I need to tell you... I'm not quite sure where to start. So, I think I'll just start with the simplest. I'm sure you've figured out that you are no longer in Arendelle. You are in a country called the United States of America. We are in a state named Michigan. And you are over 170 years in the future. Elsa, when you introduced yourself and Anna to me, I all ready knew who you two were. That's because you two are part of a very popular story in our world. In this story, it tells about how Anna saved Elsa when her ice powers went out of control. Also, in this world that you are in... Magic doesn't exist... I don't know if you've tried it yet Elsa, but I'm sure your ice powers are gone... and I'm very sorry but I don't think there is anyway for you two go go home..."

“Thank you, Sir Ryan,” Elsa replied as the two entered the stranger’s home.

Anna immediately ran over to the large flat screen TV like she hadn’t ever seen it before. Well, she really hadn’t. Her eyes widened and finger poked the screen at the people trapped behind the glass. “What kind of mirror is this? Oooh! What’s that?” She stared up at the digital clock on the wall close by.

Elsa followed the host to the couch and listened tentatively to the man. The more he spoke, she became more confused. He made absolutely no sense. She stared down at her hands when he mentioned her powers. She concentrated, flicked her wrist… Flicked it again. Nothing. Nothing happened. No ice, not even a cold breath. She glared up at Ryan. She had so many questions now, but she just asked, “How did you know I would lose my power?”

Seeing Anna's reaction to the TV and the Digital clock convinced Ryan even more that Anna and Elsa were who they said they were. Ryan watched as Elsa tried to make her powers work but like he predicted nothing happened, "In this world, Magic is just a trick to entertain people. In this world you are just a normal person. And, also, in this world Arendelle doesn't exist. So, I'm afraid you and Anna aren't royalty anymore." Ryan felt really bad for these two. To be plucked from everything they knew and love and dropped somewhere had to be really hard.

Once again Elsa couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “NO!” She stood up abruptly and paced the living room. “This. This is impossible. How did this happen? This can’t be happening. Who could have done this to us? We. We need to go back. We must find a way.”

“Elsa?” Anna walked over to her and rubbed her arms to calm her older sister. “It’ll be okay. I’m certain that we will find a way home.” She forced a wide and pretentious confident smile on her face. “In the mean time,” she looked over at the host, “Can we stay with you, Sir Ryan?”

Ryan was a little surprised when Elsa jumped up and shouted "NO!" He was glad that her ice powers weren't working because he was sure an outburst like that would cause them to overreact. He wasn't surprised when Anna jumped up to calm her sister down, Ryan stood up when Anna asked if they could stay with him, "Of course," he said, "And you don't have to call me Sir Ryan, Just Ryan would be fine... I hope you would both be fine with me calling you Elsa and Anna instead of Your Majesty and Your Highness...." He said with a smile.

“Oh yes, Elsa and Anna will do just fine, Si—erm I mean Ryan,” the younger one said. “Can you show us to our room? I think it’s best if we turn in for the night and figure out the rest in the morning. Right, Elsa?” She turned to the blonde, who just gave a slight nod. “We’ll bunk together. It’ll be like when we’re young again, Elsa,” she added, trying to make light of things.

Elsa appreciated her bubbly sister but couldn’t bring herself to smile at the moment.

Ryan nodded at Anna, "Of course... follow me..." Ryan was a little concerned about Elsa. She seemed to be taking this all really hard. He hoped she'd be OK. He took the two women upstairs to a room with a queen size bed, "I hope the bed is big enough." He turned the light switch on, "This is a light switch..." He switch the switch on and off a couple of times, "It runs on something called Electricity... It's what makes just about every thing work in this world..." He walked over to the bed and turned on the two lamps, "My sister, Gwen, uses this room when she and my niece, Annabelle, stay over."

He walked over to a dresser and opened it. Inside was several nightgowns that were very conservative. They showed very little cleavage and reached to the ankles. "You two, look to be about the same size as my sister. She keeps some extra clothes here and if she was here she would let you two borrow some nightgowns for the night. This room also has its own bathroom" Ryan walked over to the bathroom and turned it the light on, "Well, if you two need anything in the night, my room is at the end of the hallway to the left. I'll let you two get some rest... Good Night..." Ryan then went to go lock up the house for the night.

The sisters followed Ryan to the room. They were quiet but their eyes spoke volume. They glanced around and spotted strange things throughout especially the kitchen. Anna found their situation highly fascinating while Elsa was still a bit skeptical. Still, she was slowly accepting their dilemma even though she didn’t understand it completely.

Anna played with light switch a couple times. The lights flickered on and off. “Anna, please,” Elsa stopped her sister before she turned to the host. “Thank you for everything.” Her head bowed slightly at Ryan. “I would offer you some form of payment for your help, but I don’t doubt our form of money works here.”

They bid the host a good night and then changed into the nightgowns. They hopped onto bed, tired but found hard to sleep. One was over excited while the other over concerned.

Ryan chucked as Anna played with the lights and Elsa scolded her for it, "No... It wouldn't work but you don't have to pay me back. Helping others brings its own reward." After Ryan left Elsa and Anna's room, he went to lock up the house. He could still hear the rain falling outside. There was a couple rumbles of thunder in the distance. He walked back upstairs. As he walked passed the girls' room. He hoped everything would work out for them. They were so nice. This world had a habit of chewing up and spitting out nice people. He made a promise to himself to protect those two from the cruelness of this world as best as he could...

The Next morning, he woke up and he couldn't help but wonder if maybe he had dreamed the whole thing. Maybe he fell asleep watching the first half of season 4 of "Once Upon a Time" and he dreamed that Anna and Elsa appeared on his doorstep last night. He went to Gwen's room and quietly opened the door. He peeked inside and laying there in bed was Anna and Elsa. Ryan then carefully closed the door and headed down to make breakfast. He turned on the TV in the kitchen to watch the morning news. He made a pot of coffee and then proceed to start making pancakes and bacon.

The girls finally fell asleep. One was deeper than the other. By sunrise, Anna slept like she was back at Arandelle. Elsa didn’t have much luck. She heard the door creeps open and then close. She didn’t stir until a few minutes later.

She got off the bed without waking her sister and headed toward the voices. Once she reached the kitchen, she could only find Ryan. The voices came from inside the glass box that Anna had played with.

“Good morning,” she greeted. "Do you need any help?" she offered though she wasn't sure what he's doing nor does she know how to cook.

Ryan heard footsteps coming down the stairs. He looked and saw Elsa walk into the kitchen. The kitchen looked very modern. There were oak cabinets all around. There was a large stainless steel refrigerator and a stainless steel double wall oven next to the door that lead to the laundry room and stainless steel dishwasher by the sink. The counter tops were all black marble. The island in the center of the kitchen had a cook top, a griddle and a grill. There was a bar on the other side of the island with a couple of stools.

Ryan smiled at the Queen, "Good Morning." he said as took some pancakes off the griddle and put them into a bowl that was covered by a towel to keep them warm. "Nope... I've got every thing under control." he pulled out a stool for Elsa, "Would you like some coffee?" he said Ryan and he went to get a mug out of the cupboard, "So, how did you sleep last night?"
