has anyone ever tried dante amores p.e.s electro stimulation toys, inparticular the samurai. my wife and i are interested in hands on experience and genuine feedback.
its shocking i know, but one has to ask before one spends a considerable amount of money
many thanks if you respond

I don't have any experience with that particular toy but I have had some interesting fun on the cheap.

I bought one of those electro-stim exercise gadgets from QVC. (It is the kind with sticky electrodes, not the waist-belt kind) It was a hell of a lot cheaper than anything else I have seen.

It has a reostat to adjust level and duration of stim and I LOVE IT! It can cause anything from a mild tingle all the way to painful muscle contractions or even a sharp pinch or burning sensation.

Never satisfied with the way things are, I made an insertable probe for it that I have used analy on myself. I am working on nipple clips and other probes but don't have all the bugs worked out yet.

If anyone seems interested, I will provide pics and details.

Wow, Vv! Pictures and details please! Pretty please! Electro-stim seem like the most complicated ones to make or modify, to my mechanically illiterate mind.

Anything for you Nemo!

Now if I can only get the power source from my electro stim equipment to run the homemade digital camera...<scratches head>

Yowza, Vulpes.

I know *nothing* about electro play, so I'll be checking back here for info as well.

electroplay

I have seen a demonstration on electrical play at PEP. The guy doing the demonstration seemed to prefer a TENS unit. Its adjustable from very low tingle to ohh myyy goooddd! According to him you can get them on ebay for under $50. He also had other things including an old field telephone where you turn a crank to create voltage. Crank slow, a little juice, crank hard, ZAP!

Safety first!

Since this seems to be a topic that many people don't know much about, let's start our discussion with some common sense safety.

1. Never play with houshold current, it can easily kill you.

2. Never play across the chest. ie. with the negative electrode on one nipple and the postive electrode on the other. This can scramble the electrical signals that cause your heart to beat.

3. If you have any doubt about #2, never play above the waist.

the unit I have is designed to exercise your muscles while you sit and relax. (a purpose for which it is worthless)

It has two channels which are independantly adjustable for duration and level of stimulation.

Each channel has two positive electrodes and one negative. They are designed to be placed in a triangle on the muscle group you want to work.

If you placed the negative pad on the mons pubis and one positive pad on each labia majora, I bet you would have all the stimulation you wanted.

Igia sells the "Electrosage 8" for 39.99 online and it is probably very similar to the one I have.

I'll be back with more later

Back sooner than I thought!

Here is a picture of the probe I made.

The band in the center is connected to the negative wire on the control box (via a wire soldered to the inside of the band and passing out the bottom end of the probe) and the other two bands are connected to the positive wires in the same fashion.

The white in between the electrodes is wax.

Depending on how deeply this probe is inserted and how high the juice is turned up, the sensation can be mild buzz to intensely painful muscle contractions.

I'll come back with pictures of the wand and nipple clips I am working on when I get them closer to working right.

Yummy electro play

Electro play brings a different aspect to playing. I have had experience with both the P.E.S. box and the violet wand.

I found out that I like it in general and would do it again but it was not the type of stimulation that would get me begging for more.

The P.E.S. box came closest to that for me as it starts off just slowly giving shocks and then gets faster until you are ready to explode <grin> Well not literally :)

quiet:p

to Nem

I would guess for two reasons: 1) Wax is non conductive, you want the current to go through parts of the body and not the through the probe. 2) Wax is easy to mold into interesting and exciting shapes and easy to find.

You can also get the same effect with strips of aluminum around one of your favorite dildos. ;)

The safety post was dead on too. (no pun intended) :)

bingo

I did not want to just wrap strips of aluminum around a dildo because I wanted to eliminate sharp edges for obvious reasons.

If I knew anything about making latex molds, I would go that route for durability. This one was meant to be a prototype anyway and was not meant for a lot of use.
