Does the philosophy of Game of Thrones, hold steady and true ?

Cersei Lannister to Eddard "Ned" Stark: "When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground."

Donald Trump, is like Benric Dondarrion.
He dies of a wound, and returns to life, over and over, again.
He comes back to life, to fight, again.

Every time I come back, I'm a bit less. Pieces of you get chipped away."
―Beric Dondarrion

There is one magic trick, that will not happen.

A walking and talking Immortal will not arrive, to save the GOP in 2016.

Goodness, knows, that some are hoping for the return of an Immortal on Earth.

The rapture is when Jesus Christ returns to remove the church (all believers in Christ) from the earth. The rapture is described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-54. Believers who have died will have their bodies resurrected and, along with believers who are still living, will meet the Lord in the air. This will all occur in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. The second coming is when Jesus returns to defeat the Antichrist, destroy evil, and establish His millennial kingdom. The second coming is described in Revelation 19:11-16.

Magic is promised. The Immortal will save the believers.
We have had tv series based on people disappearing suddenly in a mass.
Those left behind, were carrying on, on Earth.

gsgs comment-

Beam me, up, Scotty. I have been lifted via telekinesis!
(Why would entities from the future, want to capture human beings from the past ?)

We now have Super Heroes with magical powers, featured on TV series.
Much more convincing, with modern computer graphics.

As I've noted elsewhere, I think the only thing that will kill Trump is if he actually wins the White House. All of the "no" reactions, ignoring, and failed attempts at anything will destroy his ego. His best bet at this point is to pull out in a huff, declare he won but was cheated and isn't going to associate with any of these losers, and go through life declaring himself the king of the world--if he wanted to be. He'd even preserve his supporters, who would shake their fists with him every time he let loose a rant, thus continuing his major influence. The media would continue to cover his every waking breath as well.

Reality, I think, is that the White House would be a step-down limitation on him.
