Thinking I might have made a tiny mistake in my profile by saying that I'd be willing to take requests for stories if I found them interesting. I've had over thirty requests in the nine of ten days since joining and some of the requests are, well... scary.

How often do any of the regular authors on here take requests?

A few do or say they do but most charge, which limits the amount of requests they get. I don't have the time so I don't do it. I just reply nicely that my time is limited.

I take them on occasion. There are a couple in the anthology I'm working on now. I rarely get an acknowledgment of having written it, though, even when they've wheedled at me to write one. Of course I always tell them that I'll write what my Muse has picked out of what they say they want written and that the story is then mine to do what I want with it.

Congrats 'cos I've never been brave enough to.

Well, I tell a lie - it's never even occurred to me to even ask for requests. There's the odd comment on a story about how they would like to see the next chapter go, but that's about it. (I may take suggestions into consideration in the future, but I don't think I have so far.)

So then...

What's the scariest/weirdest thing any of you have been asked to write?

A few people who apparently liked my style even requested I write stories for them that were intended for them alone, probably because they'd NEVER get posted here based on subject matter. I haven't done it, but WOW...

People can be creepy...

I don't write mainstream erotica. My stories are either satirical or sick, (or occasionally lame) so I don't have to deal with many requests. I did get one recently - a guy wanted me to write about his hot wife. I asked if he could send me some sexy pictures or video, you know, for inspiration. He declined, and I did too. How am I supposed to write her orgasm if I've never even seen it? And the smell. How can I describe her smell if she doesn't send me a pair of used panties?

What's the scariest/weirdest thing you've been asked to write? Come on, let us in on the secret. You don't have to worry. Nobody reads this forum.

Good point...

I guess since I asked the question, then I should go first, right? Derp...

One guy wanted bestiality, both male and female humans involved, and in groups (bestiality orgy). Threw that one in the trash bin quickly...

Another guy was asking me to get around the 18 y/o rule by having people only age to a certain point and stop aging, physically and mentally, no matter how long they lived.

*fwoop!* Into the trash.

Another guy wanted a story that was exceedingly violent and gory but still included sex, not to mention rape and cannibalism.

I think I'll modify my profile to include stories I WON'T write about...

The requests I've gotten have been for GM. The scariest of what I have posted to Lit. is this one: https://www.literotica.com/s/two-men-in-a-dungeon, although I've just done a request for a BDSM of a hiker grabbed off the Appalachian Trail and strung up for fun by two black guys. (Not my usual fare, I might add, but I do try for variety, so I did this one. Probably won't post to Lit. until spring of 2016).

I don't take requests. I had one sent to me anyway, with an offer of pictures to go with. It sounded like I was being asked to fictionalize an account of an real life unerage rape.

I declined the pics and turned the email and contact info over to the FBI. I'm sure they did nothing, but it was the only response I could in good conscience make. If it was all fake and I was just being jerked around, I hope the FBI had a field day with the prankster.

Now my bio explicitly says I do not take requests.

I really only get requests for continuations or stories focusing on supporting characters.

The only one that ever came to fruition ( that I hadn't already planned to do ) was Ebon Genesis.

Every once in a while I'll get a one-off of someone saying "You should write a story about xxx" but there's usually not much in the way of details. I have had a couple of creepy ones, but they were deleted within seconds, and I must have a pretty good delete button in my head as well, because I don't remember the details of them.

I normally only get requests to finish a story or two, and don't have anything on my profile saying I will do one. But I have had two requests to write custom stories. I did start one for a very nice lady, but things didn't work out because of several reasons and I never finished it, and eventually found someone to finish it for me. I haven't heard from her since.

The other story I never started. For a variety of reasons I couldn't get to it and eventually the requester went elsewhere, where it was done very well, better than I would have handled it.

I haven't had another request since and doubt I'll accept one if I do. My timetable is just too filled to do something like that.

When I'm asked to write a story for someone, I tell them that I only write what engages my Muse and that, if I did write from what they were requesting, it would be whatever my Muse picked out of that and because my Muse dropped a story initiated by that in my lap. And then the story would be mine to post as I saw fit. On that basis, I've written several reader-requested stories, but only because their ideas engaged my Muse, which then demanded that I write something.
