I'm taking all good thoughts and wishes for Tuesday. I have an interview to attend university.

I'll be reading Politics and Media.

Don't laugh :)

I'm sending all the good karma I can find your way, J, though I'm sure you won't need it. :rose:

An interview?

We get in on just the grades..?

If you're going straight from College aged 18 (or 19 if you took a gap year) thats true.

But as I'm:
-> 21,
-> have been working for three years,
-> am right on the cusp of qualifiying as a mature student (stop snickering)
-> *and* dropped out of my original uni course (at a different one)
they have to do an interview.

Nerves? What nerves?

... I have no fingernails left mind ...

Try 29, quit first time due to personal problems without finishing that C-level essay, lived on social security, worked, studied half a term, moved, worked, lived on social security, studied, unemployed, worked, unemployed, studied, worked, worked, sick leave...

I still got in on my senior high school grades.

The Swedish system's easier on ya. Hope you'll do fine, J-Le.

You'll be fine, JL :rose: Just make sure you're quite chatty and ask lots of questions - it's always worked for me ;)

It's never too late

My father didn't start his OU degree course until he was 80. He got his degree.

My father-in-law interrupted his studies for WWII. He got his degree.

If you get your place, and I'm sure you will, remember that I'm involved in politics and one of my daughters is a chief reporter on a local paper (she got a double first in Journalism and Psychology) - that's two contacts to start you off.

Good Luck, J-L!

You can do it, you know. We'll all keep good thoughts until we hear the good news!
