editors opinions please

I would like to know whether my work needs editing much. I do it myself *i could put more effort into it too* but can you tell me whether i should be looking for an editor for my next pieces? I understand i probably wont have everything right, but if i need more than a few things editing i would go with an editor i think.

(please only give an opinion from an editors point of view on spelling and grammar. I welcome any other opinions but can you state they are not from an editors point of view and more from a readers point of view if they are about the story line pleasey

Well i have opinions aplenty on my genre and content,

I do have a few that say i am very good at writing, but I don't know from an editors viewpoint.

From a scan of the first three paragraphs, it looks like you write pretty well. But, yes, you would benefit from a copy editor. Direct address is set off by a comma (first line), more independent clauses should be taking commas than you are doing, the ellipsis isn't used properly, "king" isn't capitalized in the generic, "makeup," as in cosmetics, isn't split.

That's all pretty surface, though. The story is readable, at least from the start.
