Editors commendations or complaints, Where?

I was reading Find an Editor and it states:

"- Once your story is posted, the editor's credit will appear on your story, and your rating along with any comments you made will appear in the editor's profile. The editor may comment on your comment."

I wrote something really nice about my VE. Where is it???

I don't believe that is working yet. In any case, there are a number of editors (including me) who don't want to be trailed in the story area.

I understand that you would not want to be trailed either. I don't want my editor trailed because I have a jewel. I gave mine credit when my story was published, but did not use my VE's name.

When that feature is available will it be manditory or can people voluntarily opt out?

Since everything on this site is voluntary, there will always be a way out. What is needed is a way of allowing someone to remain a volunteer editor but still not be advertised on the stories they have edited.
