Editor with knowledge of Swimming techniques?

I am looking for an editor with knowledge of swimming techniques, preferably a good swimmer himself/herself.

I don't know how to swim at all, but the story requires awareness of swimming. I would be expecting a little help in story development, primarily supporting me in aspects of swimming.

The current theme in my stories involves the transition of protagonist, who faces certain emotion challenges, from a state of depression to a better state.

This story is part of my experiment to start with strong emotional aspects, gradually shifting mood to sensuality.

The initial overall plot
The story revolves around a boy who loves swimming, but has fear of swimming in front of others because of an incident with his sister. (Sorry, it is incest, because I am currently focusing specifically on brother-sister incest type of stories.) The character has severe complexes due to this. With the help of his father and his father's friends, gradually gets more comfortable swimming with others, when his sister is not around. Gradually he gets comfortable with being with her and finally overcomes his trepidation.

Thank you.

If you need a list of basic forms to start researching, I'd recommend taking a look at the Wikipedia article on Swimming Strokes, which appears to cover all the basics and then some that I've never heard of. Salt it with some Google and that editor you're looking for to double-check your writing and you should be set.

I would be requiring a more hands on assistance. I have already googled for the things in my mind. I found that one of the techniques (one-handed swimming) that I asked my character to follow to improve speed is an actual one used by real people to improve free-style swimming.

I am looking for very specific modifications in the technique, and I want a real life person telling me how "realistic" the technique is going to be. Since the story revolves a lot on problems of the character with regards to swimming as an activity, if a real life swimmer is not able to relate with the remedies suggested to him, then I don't think the story can stand on its own right.

I know that in fiction, we can make a peacock have penis; but for people to be involved with the story, the mating ritual cannot have a protruding genitalia, as anyone who knows anything about birds will tell it.

That is the reason for my specific request.

Ah, alrighty then. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. My knowledge of swimming techniques is limited to the absolute basics they gave in swimming skills certification classes way back in the day. Easy enough to explain a crawl or breast stroke, but anything beyond that is going to be out of my depth.

At least you know to swim.

It is much tougher for a person to think up swimming routines, when he doesn't even know to stay afloat in water for more than 5 meters.

(Yep, 5.0 meters is the world record set by the author.:p)

I think there may be a confusion in my initial request.

I am looking for an editor and not a co-author.

I am currently uncomfortable with a few scenes., especially where I am saying about swimming techniques. If I knew swimming, then I would have tried whatever I was thinking before I write.

I looking for an editor who can clear inconsistencies in those scenes.
