I write erotica for fun, and enjoy the whole creative writing thing, including characterisation and plot constructions. Whilst I do my best with proofreading there are often one or two gaffs that slip through. It's so annoying to stumble on them after posting!
I think I'm generally okay with the basic mechanics of writing, however I'm striving for greater concision. The question I ask myself is why should the reader read this paragraph? What's in it for them? So I'm looking for an editor who understands that objective, one who's not afraid to wield a sharp knife and is able to question the validity and necessity of sentences, paragraphs and even whole sections.
I currently have a rewrite of an old multi-chapter story under way, working on 4000 word chapters every week. See signature for details and please get in touch if you're interested.
