The premise of this story, and those I hope will follow, is this:

Set in the 31st millennium, mankind has conquered the stars. Terra has been unified under the Emperor and his genetically engineered sons, the Primarchs, lead his armies to reclaim lost worlds which have been cut off for thousands of years. The Primarchs will be tested, their loyalty to the Emperor questioned. The seeds of heresy shall be sown.

The first part is set around the XIV Legion, the Luna Wolves, and a discovery that will shake the galaxy to the core.

These will be based heavily on the Horus Heresy books, published by various authors by Games Workshop. Knowledge of the books would be helpful. The first story takes place before the events of the first book, Horus Rising.

You need to tell what the word count is and what timeframe you would like the story returned.

Finished

I finally finished it, it is 1 book containing 8 chapters, 15,499 words and 38 pages in Microsoft word.

I honestly have no idea what a reasonable amount of time is for something of this length, but I would think 3-4 weeks. I understand life gets in the way sometimes and am willing to be flexible.
