Editor for incest/harem series "The Power"

I have written 7 chapters of 8-9 of an incest fantasy series. The first 6 chapters are posted under the title The Power Ch. 01 - 06. I didn't plan on the story being anything serious, but I got a lot of positive feedback and reviews from the first few chapters.

Hopefully this interests someone.

It is my understanding that the proper procedure for requesting editing on your work is contacting a specific editor, rather than posting a general appeal in the editing forum.

Last time I checked, there are 1000 editors listed for the Incest/Taboo category, if you scroll through their profiles a bit, I'm sure you'll find someone who you'd like to work with. Good luck!

Posting a thread in search of an editor is just one option to finding an editor. It works for both writers and editors. Some of my favorite writers I edit for I found via thread requests.

Nope. The VE listings are chock full of nonfunctional listings and that is no longer a particularly good way to find an editor in this decade. The OP is taking a good approach. There also are editors signaling availability by month on the sticky thread above, and you can always directly contact an author whose work you admire for possible help.

I've connected with some good writers via the Volunteer Editor list as well. Again, it's another option. None of the options of finding an editor are perfect. The reality is a writer isn't going to know if they've found a good/suitable editor until they've actually started working with one, after both editor and writer decide the story is a good fit for the editor.

I haven't looked at the stories yet but have been meaning to. I wouldn't mind giving it a shot if you'd like.
You should enable PMs through options through CP.

Thanks for the advice all and I enabled PM's. The Find an Editor option is very tedious. I spent a long time look through it and reading profiles. I ended up finding an editor finally, but after sending him the first chapter I didn't hear back from him.
