Please help. Sorry if posting to wrong forum, but this website is becoming a behemoth. I published a multi-chapter story recently that worked fine. Created on .doc but a reader noticed I'd missed part of one chapter when I transferred it to Literotica. Is there an easy way to edit/add to a published story's chapter, or do I have to create a new chapter saying Edited, delete original, and re-organize their order? Please advise and provide an idiot-proof link for an idiot like me. I found one thread about this, but it didn't answer the question.

I have the same doubt, I have some errors in one of my stories, and I don't know the correct procedure to rectify it.

Add the missing content to an existing chapter, resubmit the entire revised text as an edit (use the existing chapter title plus the words EDIT). Include a Note to the Editor. Wait 2 - 5 weeks. Edits are low priority for the site.

No link needed, just prepare your updated text and resubmit. Once you have resubmitted, don't touch the submission, because every time you do, you restart the process. You have to be patient, because it does take a long time and there's no advice regarding progress along the way.

The original story will remain public until the revision?

If they're trivial, I wouldn't bother. We all have typos and goofs, and readers tend to be pretty forgiving. By the time edits get processed, the story is long past its opening night, and the impact on readership is minimal.

Create a new one with Exact Title of Story EDITED, then leave it alone. Do nothing more. The edit will automatically replace the original (once approved.)
