It hasn't been fixed in years. You'll have to simply deal with it as they won't fix it.

Not really.

Word is (based on a couple of dozen previous thread on this topic), it was intentionally disabled due to some conflict it created with the story/author side of the site.

Whatever the reason, it's all speculation as Admin has consistently refused to answer any questions about it or post on any of the threads about it.
