editing help

hey all,

I know i'm going to be yelled at for not soliciting editors' help on the vol. ed. page. however, I tried several and either received no reply or messages that they were too busy to edit.

Would anyone be willing to edit a fairly long short story (30+ pages) involving straight sex, historical, and supernatural porn? I'd be willing to send the story in sections, rather than all at once.

I'm looking for help with pacing, character development, and verbosity.

What's the timeframe in your historic piece? I might be willing to take a look...but I warn you I have a degree in history and am working towards a PhD in the subject.
