Editing a published story

In the FAQ I simply upload as if it is a new story but add edited to the title - thing is the title already uses all the allowed characters :-/

That's quite alright. Just write EDIT: "As much of the title that fits" and add the additional information in the Notes to Admin box. Also, be aware that it could take quite some time before the edit goes through as it seems that such updates are put in a queue with much lower priority than publishing new stories.

This. I recently edited a story and it took at least three weeks to go through.
