Editing a private message

How come you can't edit a PM, but you can all your post? Or delete them from the person you sent it to? It would be nice if you wanted to change some wording, but you can't on a private message. And deleting, I can delete my own PM from my list, but can't delete it from the person I sent it too? But again, you can change and edit your thread, or post.

Is this important? If you "want to change some wording," just send a new PM with a clarification.

And I'm going to assume that if one frequently feels the need to delete a previously sent PM, you're probably saying things that should have remained unsaid.

WOW! so you just don't know why, ok thanks. Sorry if I upset anyone. I just thought if you can edit a post, why not a message? Change or add something without sending another message, maybe fix some misspelt words.
